This is my second MacBook Pro. My first lasted 6 years before it got some random hardware issue that I didn't want to spend the money to fix. Apple gave me $415 to trade it in, no purchase necessary. BB had the better price (on sale), so I purchased thru them. The new machine is awesome. I love the Touch Bar and use it all the time. I especially like the fingerprint ID and the way you can customize the Touch Bar. It took a little to get used to only having USB-C ports, but buying a cheap $10 USB adapter is a good workaround. This machine is a little lighter and thinner than my 2013 MacBook and I liked the new color option.

I love my Macbook Pro. It is very fast,sleek, and has a lot of "bells and whistles". I highly reccomend opting for the touch bar, it has so many applications of use.

This is my first Mac. I am homeschooling my kids and decided to get a Mac because they use an apple ipad and I wanted to keep everything in the same family. It took some time getting used to how a Mac works. While it has been different it hasn’t been as bad as what people have made it out to be. I love the Touchbar. How it changes depending on what you are doing on the Mac. I use it a lot more than I thought and even my kids use it. It has word suggestions which comes in handy. I will say is everyone is different. I like the keyboard and the giant track pad. The most negative thing I can think of is I am not the greatest fan of the ports they use. Just another cable/ adapter I need to keep around. This is only an issue though because we have a variety of electronics in the house already. I will give another update as I have only had this for a month.

I purchased this laptop for school use, it is much lighter than my hp I have Been using. Much more faster and sleek. I love Mac after getting use to it. Great buy.

When my trusty 2011 17" MacBook Pro finally decided it couldn't handle anymore updates, I was determined to get another computer that would last me longer than any disposable laptop I was burning through prior to owning a Mac. I am overly satisfied with this model; though I miss the 17" display, the fun touch bar has made up for it. The retina display and speaker quality are also phenomenal, and I am happy to report that this baby is a speed demon when it comes to using editing software. Definitely missed that using my old tank. MacBook Pro Loyal for 9 years and counting!

I am using the MacBook Pro for both work and home use. It is lightning fast and super easy. The Took bar is amazing saves so much time and makes it easier to use

I had an old Acer and finally my kids broken its screen. I say finally, because I needed to upgrade it. I bought the latest MacBook Pro 15” and it has a fingerprint scan to unlock. Wow. Nice touch bar for shortcuts, great fancy finish. If you have an ios phone then you can go to a website on your phone and continue what you were doing on your macbook. I felt so outdated with a lots of features this notebook has to offer. Overall worth for the money and highly satisfied. If you are on the go smaller and lighter version might be good for you.

Don’t believe everything you hear the base model 15” is all you’ll need unless you’re a content creator. This is an outstanding laptop. I was really worried about giving up all my ports on my 2012 by USB see is definitely superior and worth the trade-off. The build quality is through the roof. Being able to unlock my Macbook Pro with my series 3 Apple Watch is the most convenient thing ever! I’m really digging the trutone display! Subtle but yet makes a big difference. This is perfect example of where the total is greater than the sum of the parts! This is by far the best laptop you can get for a student. Just run windows 10 as a boot camp partition!

Apple products are typically expensive. The performance of these products are indicative of their prices and the overall sleekness and performance of this product lives up to its predecessors. Why give it only four stars? Perhaps I’m stuck in the world of USB 3.0 inputs — I mean, 95% of the electronics use it. However, the MacBook Pro has four Thunderbolt 3 inputs which none, including my iPhone lightning charger, could be used on. I ended up having to buy an $80 adapter so I could have more than one USB port. I am one of these consumers whose eyes glimmer in the shine of the latest product Apple has to offer, my assessment of its performance outside of word processing, web browsing, and live-streaming is all I can attest to. Sans my disappointment in the ostensibly useless four thunderbolt ports, I am happy with the overall product.

Glad I purchased this computer. It is light weight, has plenty of storage space, good speed, good clarity, and responsive Touch Bar

This 15" MacBook Pro is a replacement for our former 17" MacBook Pro which died a few months ago after about 7 years of good service. I do miss the 17" screen and 1TB HD but the picture quality of the 15" is awesome and the 251GB solid state hard drive is fast. Have not bothered with using a mouse as the new MAC has a very nice 4x6-1/4" touch pad + backlit key pad and a helpful Touch Bar where function keys used to be. In that iCloud and Dropbox make up for my 1TB previous HD, I'm ok with the 256GB ssd.

Always wanted a Pro and never wanted to spend the money. Most of the PCs I’ve owned have given me problems or had glitches so I knew when it came time to upgrade I was going to go big and skip the review surfing. Got the 15” Pro and I’m in love with it. It’s sleek but substantial, super fast processor and vivid display. I’m happy with the ease and responsiveness of the trackpad and also ended up buying a numeric keyboard for when I’m at my desk. No regrets here. This machine is up for any challenge it is given.

I was hesitant about purchasing a $2300 laptop, but this was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I have used Macbook Pros in the past. The reviews regarding the keyboard and overheating issues worried me. After using this machine for work and play I can honestly say it is well worth the price tag. My previous Macbook Pro lasted me for six years. I hope to get at least that out of this one. If you are thinking about buying a new Macbook this year, the eighth generation Intel is the one to get.

I decided to upgrade my old Mac Book Pro to this newer version. I love it! I’ve had it for over a month and the battery life is great. I use it for college and always have multiple programs opened, even then the battery lasts up to 10-12 hours. The Touch Bar tends to be very useful when trying to get things done quick. For anyone looking to upgrade or purchase a laptop I definitely recommend this one.

Everything I've come to expect from an apple product! Lightning quick great resolution on the screen, the touchpad atop the keyboard is a great new feature. Speakers on the MacBook Pro are phenomenal. I did buy a magic mouse 2 because I've never been to fond of the touchpad on laptops. The Mouse is perfect and works on just about any service. I can sit on my couch and use it on the arm of the couch and it functions and responds just as well as any mouse on a desktop would! Great product!

This thing is fast. Looks great. Works great. Slim profile. Its expensive, but I didn't get it to save money..

My previous Macbook Pro was 8+ years old. It worked fine - just the RAM couldn't keep up to today's uses (ahem, Chrome). So, I went to upgrade. Got a great deal on this guy, but they're still not cheap!! Yes, it's faster. Yes, it's lighter. That's about it. I don't use the touchbar, not a big fan of the keyboard, and it's subject to many dents and dings already. Did I need a new laptop? Yes. Do I know it'll last a good long while? Yes. Despite that, it's rather underwhelming considering the chunk of change I dropped on it.

I needed a laptop for a new consulting job. With a long history of Mac use, dating back to the early 90's, a Mac laptop was the only reasonable choice. The MacBook Pro, 15" screen with 256 Gb memory has continued to please me with its performance and great features. The large touch pad makes cursor action easy; the retina screen is really! clear. The battery lasts almost a full 8 hours. No compatibility issues with the primitives using PCs. Great choice!
