We purchased an Apple TV to replace the Fire Stick. But is comes with a remote we did not like, This is a great remote. I recommend it, easy to use and it charges with a lightning cable.

Great remote, so much better than just the track pad remote which was always hard to operate, especially when fast forwarding, etc. via DVR. This remote blends both together for better control and interaction with TV.

This Apple TV remote is way better than the original and should replace all the older ones. It’s much easier to use and navigate however it could use a light switch so you can see the remote in a darkened room!

Daily use. I have a DirecTV stream box that I don't even bother to use now that the AppleTV Siri Remote is paired with my AppleTV. Quick Search / simple interface. All remotes should be this easy

So used to how bad the previous AppleTV remotes were, this one had a real learning curve. Now that I know how to use it, it is MUCH better than the older ones. Just be patient with yourself, the controls are very different.

Looove this remote!! It’s definitely worth it for the upgrade from the original remote. It actually feels like a good remote in your hand and not something your gonna break.

Replaced the old remote on the 1st generation Apple TV 4K and it’s so much better. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but it feels premium and it worked on all my devices right away.

My black glass version broke, so I bought this as its replacement. Very happy that now I have a power button and the control is no longer made of glass(looks nice but literally the glass is dangerous if broken).

I was never a big fan of the required gestures on the old remote. With the new remote, I can click the directions and mute my TV. It’s great! The only drawback is the price but that’s expected with Apple products.

This remote is great! it has a substantial weight to it love the new directional buttons! no more getting lost inside the sofa! very good if you have dexterity issues

I had the Apple TV 4K 32Gb for 3 years and I never liked the remote to the point I hardly ever used it. I love using this remote and I am watching the Apple TV move than ever since I bought the new remote.

I like this remote better than the original. It has a little more heft and no more confusion with holding it upside down. No backlighting, but the controls are pretty simple/intuitive and the tradeoff is good battery life. Not sure if it is worth upgrading if you already have a remote, but it is a good addition/upgrade if you purchase a new AppleTV.

The old apple tv remote was truly the worst remote I ever owned in my life, so this thing was an essential purchase. It's a little pricey but i don't find myself swearing at the remote anymore which is nice.

It works with your apple TV, which is what it's supposed to do. Battery lasts a long time, voice recognition is pretty good. I wish it would play a noise when you lose it though. I have a 3 year old and this thing is constantly lost. The Roku remotes would play a sound when you lost them to try to find them, but then again that won't help you here.

This remote is leaps and bounds better than the previous version. I didn't want to upgrade my Apple Tv's so I bought two of these and paired them with ease. Such a better experience than the old one.

Finally a remote that's easy to use! Once I started using the remote, I completely forgot about the older one. Didn't have to read the basic instructions.

Did you loose your AppleTV remote too?!?! This said it would work for my model and it did great. Easy to set up and worked just like my original unit. Hope I don't loose this one!

This is what Apple should have had from the start. Still not perfect, but leagues better than the previous remotes. I replaced all of my awful Apple remotes with this new one & have no regrets

If you're not going to upgrade your Apple TV or Apple TV 4K right now, this is still a great choice! It feels much more solid and and functionally it is much better and more intuitive to use.
