    This newer generation remote is better compare to the previous generation Apple Remote. Both has it's pros and cons and sometimes I just end up using iPhone as a remote. Buy only if you've extra money.

    So much easier to use than the other remote. Apple should consider cutting their loyal customers a break when they have a superior version of something. Would rate it excellent except for the price
