Works great and is easier to use then the one that come with Apple TV that is all finger slide control. This one gives you the option of either finger slide or click.

Much improved remote I like the new design of the buttons very convenient.

I purchased this remote to replace the original Apple TV HD remote because I wasn’t very fond of the large touch pad that we always accidentally hit. I like the size and feel of the new remote and the smaller touch pad area and haven’t had the same issues as the old one. Purchase 2 but need 1 more to replace all the old remotes. Very much worth the price.

I like the build quality and comfort of the remote, but have come to hate the Siri button on the side. I always seem to hit it somehow while it’s sitting on the arm of my recliner.

This remote is definitely better than the previous model, but the central controller remains a bit too sensitive at time, repeating inputs when only one should have occurred.

This remote is much better than the original. Only comment is the small buttons could be a bit further from the larger navigating button. My fat fingers hit the smaller button and I end up somewhere I didn't intend to go. Even with that, it is still much better. I like the real on/off vs the sleep only mode of the original remote. A bit pricey for a remote though.

If you have the previous generation 4K Apple TV, definitely get this remote.
