I purchased this remote to replace the original Apple TV HD remote because I wasn’t very fond of the large touch pad that we always accidentally hit. I like the size and feel of the new remote and the smaller touch pad area and haven’t had the same issues as the old one. Purchase 2 but need 1 more to replace all the old remotes. Very much worth the price.

So much better than the old apple TV remote. Easy to operate, the spin wheel is very tactile and if you want you can still use the touch pad if you want. All applications don't allow scrubbing, but most do. Definitely worth the extra $$ to spend on just the remote.

Upgraded from the smaller old remote. Has some issues when you hit the back button where it takes me back to the home screen. Overall, better than the original remote.

I like the build quality and comfort of the remote, but have come to hate the Siri button on the side. I always seem to hit it somehow while it’s sitting on the arm of my recliner.

This remote is definitely better than the previous model, but the central controller remains a bit too sensitive at time, repeating inputs when only one should have occurred.

Needed a replacement for a while and finally got it, way worth it

This remote is much better than the original. Only comment is the small buttons could be a bit further from the larger navigating button. My fat fingers hit the smaller button and I end up somewhere I didn't intend to go. Even with that, it is still much better. I like the real on/off vs the sleep only mode of the original remote. A bit pricey for a remote though.
