The perfect remote, 100 times better than original

Im glad life is much easier having the new upgraded control. I only got the controller not the whole device. I’m happy with the new controller as it won’t go crazy on me that’s for sure. I feel like I can control what I want it to do because with the Previous control I couldn’t and that’s a big factor in a CONTROL right?!.

What an upgrade to old apple tv 4k remote..love it

Great improvement over the old one. I do like how the click wheel has been implemented, much more intuitive versus the larger old track pad. Though the center of the click wheel is still a track pad, it's at least a little harder to accidentally slide across it now.

As with most things Apple, this remote works seamlessly. I was distressed when I lost my Apple TV remote and wasn't sure this was going to work. It works better than the remote that came with it! Much better handling and weight. Very happy.

The couch troll stole our AppleTV remote, so I went to Best Buy and purchased this amazing upgrade. You have the ability to use the touchpad or the arrow buttons or both, which is a huge upgrade from the original. I love this new addition, I just hope the couch troll doesn't come back.

The new Siri Remote is a HUGE improvement over the last generation remote. The size is much better, the button layout and dedicate power buttons are also a nice change. The overall feel and quality are fantastic and is a nice overall upgrade.

This is the remote that should have come with my 4th gen. I am so glad to be rid of the touch pad on the previous remote.

This remote is light years beyond the last gen. The buttons plus trackpad combo is a far better design than the full track pad. The rest of the buttons have a far better feel as well. Bought it to replace my remotes for my last gen Apple TV even though it was still working perfectly fine.

Great remote went with the upgrade not the box like it smooth touches and overall its well worth it

I have the previous version of the Apple TV and that remote was just terrible, so I decided to purchase the Apple Sire Remote and this remote is so much better. The controls are great, the buttons are raised and work perfectly. Great buy.

Finally they put a mute button on the remote as well as a power button. Device works better than previous versions

As much as I was one of the few people that actually liked the previous remote, this new remote is such a great improvement over the previous one. Paired it with the 1st gen Apple TV 4K, and it’s well worth purchasing the new remote.

I've owned Apple TVs for years. My biggest disappointment was using the supplied remote that came with the 4K version I pushed a few years back. When Apple unveiled the latest version of Apple TV I was initially upset to see an improved remote but no discussion on backwards compatibility. Thankfully Apple did release this as a stand alone product that work on most older devices. I just feel the price is too high for the value of the product but with Apple, that's not unexpected.

Significant improvement over the original design, but unnecessarily expensive like most Apple products.
