Love this remote. I have the older 4k Apple TV and hated the remote it came with. Now I can fast forward and rewind easily and mute with this remote.

This is a much better remote than the old Siri remote. It’s especially useful for people that have trouble using the touch interface of the old one.

Love the way to turn off all the connected devices at once. Also the remote is a little bulky than previous ones which makes it less easier than previous ones to loose.

Huge improvement over older touchpad remote. Only thing it needs to be better is customization of sensitivity of track area within directional button. Also kinda sucks that replacement remote is 60 bucks when most other ones are 20 to 40 for other high end streaming boxes.

Lost our original one in the couch. It’s with the black sock I can’t find either. It syncs quickly to whatever received you want it to control.

Much better remote the the previous version. I love the click wheel especially for rewinding and fast forwarding. I much better experience scrolling than with the old remote.

Let’s just say a certain controller got thrown. It did not end well. Thankfully Best Buy had it in stock and within an hour I had a new one.

very good replacement! works awesome! does all the same features, just have to get used to the different buttons. thinking of upgrading all my apple tv remotes.

I have two Apple Tv's and replaced both of the remotes with this upgraded model. It is a great improvement over the older model with the circular scroller.

Replaced the original 4th gen remote. Best remote i’ve had for my 4th gen 4k apple tv. Using siri to search for shows is super easy when i’m feeling lazy.

Much better than the older style of Apple Remote. Still has room for improvement but it’s a step in the right direction.

While the newest model of the Apple TV remote is an improvement over the earlier iterations it falls well short of the ideal. Yes, you can finally mute audio and more easily navigate settings by clicking buttons rather than just using swiping motions. But the navigation still is somewhat difficult and too often leads to errors. Accessing other settings such as subtitles is not sufficiently transparent and requires memorizing a series of gestures. Siri can be helpful but too often fails to find the desired program within the opened app or indicates that the program must be rented or purchased when that is clearly not the only option. So, yes I would still purchase the new Siri Remote but am convinced that Apple should rethink the interface and produce a product on par with the iPhone interface.

Much better than the previous remote. Still provides a tracking area, but directional buttons are easier to use than the track pad that was on the earlier remote

Much better remote than the original ones. Tech at BB assured me that it was compatible with my first gen 4K tv. Connected without a hitch, so I bought a second one.

This remote is so much more functional and easy to use compared to the original one that came with my AppleTV 4K. I'm so glad that they came out with this one.

I love this new remote. Apple did a great job. The touch on the previous one made me hit it accidentally a lot.

I love this remote! It is so much better than the one that came with my Apple TV. I like the fact you can change the settings to make the selection wheel click instead of sliding your finger around. The only drawback is the price. Would be nice if it was about $20 cheaper.

MUCH improved over the previous Apple TV remote...the new click wheel is so much easier to use. That old touch pad was far too prone to accidental presses/inputs. Overall a better feel, too, and I appreciate the side button for Siri access. A bit steep in price, but I'm glad I purchased.
