Only use this for Migration Assistant and it's blazing fast taking advantage of TB3 speeds. This only gets 4 stars because it's way too expensive in Apple fashion and the cable is very short. I was in a pinch so I didn't have the chance to shop other brands. I also question the durability because most Apple cables tear after being bent repetitively. Hope this holds up.

Needed to attach two IMac systems. Worked fine and durable cord. Was a little short but good nonetheless.

Good high quality cable for thunderbolt 3. Not the very nice braided cable, but much cheaper and same speed.

Needed an external SSD cable and this is a high quality choice. There are cheaper cables on the market, but Apple quality is my preference for cables. Wire jacket is thick and durable.

So far works well and great quality. I wish they made a longer version. Apple has created a confusing mess with cable names and functions. Thunderbolt 2 vs 3 and data vs charging made finding what I needed a bit challenging.

High Quality Apple item as expected. Cable lengths could be longer so its tough to mate up 2 iMacs. Most important is the physical opening for the Lightning jack on an iMac could be different depending on the model year. Makes data transfer super fast.

If you're looking for a USB-C connector that covers all the bases, I'd highly recommend this one. As a creative, I've realized that not all USB-C are made equal. Some USB-C are optimized for data transfer, charging, connecting to other devices, etc. This one is capable of them all, so I feel so hesitation using it among a variety of creative endeavors.

Does exactly what it is supposed to, however, wished it was longer. Connector is solid and the cable itself feels like it will be more durable than precious ones I’ve owned.

The shorter size of this cable was a great purchase for connecting my phone to my cars usb input. No mess of extra cable to deal with in the car. Apple brand so no error messages ever and the quality is top notch. Surprisingly the price wasn’t as inflated as I expected. It being from apple and all.
