    From 40 GBPS to 80 GBPS in one generation is mind blowing. Connect to an EGPU and you have no throttle issues.

    Allows some devices to charge faster, but that’s not why I got it. The data transfer speeds are quick, but I’m still waiting, if that makes sense. I’ve used it for a few backup SSD updates, but still end ip walking away because of the estimated times. And if I’m walking away for 30 minutes, I might as well walk away for the 1 hour. Maybe if you want a cable that does faster transfers and one that allows faster charging, then this is more of a justifiable purchase. Cable works.
