Love Apple to begin with but I’ll call them as I see them. I’m glad the remote has been upgraded with the menu button. 4K is pretty great with the upgraded iTunes movies!!

It's an Apple product, of course it works right out of the box. My smart TV was not able to load new apps, and my older Apple TV well, was old. I upgraded to the 4K model, added a couple of new apps to the new Apple TV box, and all went smoothly. I regularly use Apple Air Play, perfect performance.

Really enjoy being able to see channels that were just removed from the channel listing by my cable company. Easy set up and simple streaming right from my iPhone. 4K is the bomb and is the only way to go. Very happy that items like this are available - will be cutting the cable cord asap if this works out. I'd definitely purchase this streaming system again. Make sure to get the "big one" with 4K.

I bought the Apple TV with the 4k for my son for Christmas and he loves it.I really wanted to get the 64GB but they kept selling out maybe will take it back and upgrade.

I really love everything about AppleTV - except that remote. Everyone in my family hates it. I was really hoping that the 4K version had a different remote, but it doesn't. It's small, easy to lose in the couch cushions, and whenever you pick up up, you inadvertently pause or disrupt the program by accidentally touching the pad. And it's so sensitive, it's hard to navigate with precision sometimes. I'm sorry, but when it comes to a remote, bigger with physical buttons is better. As for the interface, the video quality, and the way the apps and libraries are organized, we love it. In fact, we use Apple TV so much, we rarely use cable anymore.

The Apple TV 4K is a phenomenal over-the-top (OTT) media streaming device. Though many will say all streamers are the same, the fact of the matter is the ATV4K's hardware far exceeds the speed and UX of every competitor, save possibly the nVidia Shield Pro. I own the Chromecast Ultra, Roku Premiere and Firestick 4K, but none of them have the snappy response and sheer power to keep up with this device. Moreover, it supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and, when connected to Movies Anywhere, will allow you to unlock iTunes Extras on your movie library (amazing feature that mimics the menu structure of physical discs to allow you to explore bonus content on movies like behind the scenes featurettes or making-of content). I have purchased three of these so far and will continue to do so until Apple demonstrably upgrades the hardware (the ATV4K 2021 has, more or less, the same SOC as this unit). If anything, buy the new Siri Remote and pair it with one of these for the best of both worlds.

After purchasing my 4K TV, I had to upgrade my Apple TV Gen3 to an Apple TV 4K and would absolutely recommend upgrading like I did because you will not be disappointed!

So I'll be honest. I have little expectations from Apple. But the Apple TV is definitely the best product they sell! It's so easy to use and they have so many apps! The ONLY thing I don't like is how easily the remote slides out of my hand. I wonder if they sell sleeves for it?? Oh and since iPhones don't screen mirror to a tv alone, this helps you do that!

The Apple 4K TV offers very fast connectivity and a first class picture on any good 4K TV. It offers more than the competitors if you are an Apple iPhone or iPad owner.

This is a great streaming box. I use it the most for watching Direct TV NOW. I have my Apple TV connect to my LG OLED TV and the picture is great with all media types.

We replaced our old (like... 5 years old at least) Apple TV with this new 4K 32GB and the difference is night and day. This is fast and easy to navigate, with excellent picture quality. Glad we made the switch... still, there are other devices to consider that offer comparable video quality at a better price point.

Long time user of different Apple TVs , just recently upgraded from the previous AT not 4K. Extremely easy to install and use it. Excellent streaming tool , in my opinion the best in the market. Very good sound quality , improved from the previous one. it is a pleasure to watch streaming contents from Espn , Netflix , Prime Video , Hulu and much more. Highly recommended

Apple TV was already very useful but the addition of 4K is great. Also the addition of amazon prime app helps and the fact that iTunes upgrades all your movies to 4K.

Works well. Easy to use. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

I have chrome and Roku. I just love how fast the some TV. I’m one of those person that fast forward everything. I love the remote. With the pandemic we are getting a few more of these and is effortless because Apple is great cloning one box to another. The only bad thing is the glass on the remote. I have all of mine with a silicon case.

Easy to set up, the 4K is stunning. It’s also the best hub to use. Forget the smart apps on tv. Use this for everything. Also-got 4K tv and don’t have 4K receiver yet. Used this to send directly to tv for 4K picture and digital tv optical out to receiver for Dolby Dts sound. Good compromise until I upgrade receiver.

Great product for streaming 4K. Well designed and everything you expect from Apple EXCEPT for the useless remote. Everything about the remote is wrong. It’s too touchy, too small, too slippery and it is difficult to use. I sure hope they get smart and fix this.

Apple TV is awesome in general and this is needed if you have a 4K tv. If you don’t have a 4K tv then don’t bother buying this one and just get the previous module.

At first it was very problematic setting up but Apple as always was very helpful in getting the unit to work properly with my television set. The picture is incredible and the ease-of-use is even better. If you have family sharing that can be very helpful as well. Make sure you get the proper HDMI cable though as that was what the problem was at first. Overall I’m very happy
