Needed to upgrade from the older-generation AppleTV so that we could install custom apps to do video streaming of MLB, NBA, YouTube TV. Generally works great, as you would expect. One nontrivial issue is that they switched the location of the pause button from the location it was in on the old silver remote, which causes no end of fun when negative-transfer occurs and you hit the wrong button when you're trying to pause. The touchpad interface also takes some getting used to, even if you've used a laptop mouse touchpad for a long time. And it's hyper-sensitive, so even the slightest accidental touch to this when you're watching a show can produce an unexpected stop or change in your show. I always leave it turned upside-down so the control surface isn't open to accidental touches.

The picture quality is amazing! It’s even clearer then then the apps that are built in to the TV. Awesome!

Very satisfied with this latest version of the Apple TV. I was very pleasantly surprised by the easy set up process and high quality video. Installing and signing into apps was a simple and stress free.

This Apple TV is great. This is my second one and my previous one is the same generation. Apple TV is easy to use and it's easy to mirror or cast content from my phone to the TV. My one complaint is the remote. The swiping and clicking are just not accurate, which is likely why the newer models have a different remote. For the price I paid, I think it's still worth it.

Attached to my older tv works much faster and clearer than my Mac mini connected to the same tv. Syncs with my Mac mini to pull in photos for the screen saver and can watch youtube tv to cut the cable cord. Now I just need to invest in a 4K tv...

This Apple TV was the perfect match to my 4K television. Sports is the majority of what I watch if I have time and this lets me watch what I missed, what’s on now. Tv shows, stream from my iPhone, iPad. Time to cut cable. Perfect.

We love all our Apple TV’s. If you have the change to spare I’d select this over all others. 4K is great when it’s available but the picture quality is wonderful for all HD. As good as your TV is capable of. Add in games and it’s a sweet package.

Much better than previous generations. This thing is head and shoulders above the competitors. Love it.

Awesome for Apple users. Works seamlessly with past purchases and quality is great. I use it with my Samsung 75in Q90r. The interface is continually improving and ease of use is excellent. Also The voice recognition is way better than the previous model

Finally upgraded all my Apple TV's in the house to 4K and totally worth it. Now we have HDR10 and Dolby Atmos on both TV's and it makes for a great experience.

I have had this hooked up for a few days. Installation is easy. User friendly. I am very pleased so far

This was a great addition to 4K tv. Great apps and live streaming tv. Just waiting for more 4K content.

Bought it mainly to use for screen sharing from my other iOS devices, but ended up using it to replace my cable boxes. It does what it’s supposed to, extremely easy to set up and use right away. Have had an occasional problem with the UI being extremely buggy, and the overly sensitive remote and remote app for iphone are probably my least favorite thing about it. I don’t need touchpads on everything, just give me buttons.

I’m very satisfied with the Apple TV 4K! I upgraded from the previous generation because I got a new 4K tv. It’s much faster than the previous version and the picture quality is great! Just wish it wasn’t so expensive (especially compared to its cheaper rivals).

Amazing! Best casting device on the market - easy to use, looks clean and sleek on the tv stand, and plays in high quality! The 4K option is great as well now that most streaming services and TVs support that now.

Apple TV made our nice TV resolution clearer and removed wait times, as the "smart" tv needed about 5 minutes to connect to internet. The process of using the device was pretty intuitive for our family and we loaded our favorite apps and starting enjoying in less than an hour. Learned early on that Apple TV airplay settings needed to be turned off in order to eliminate other apple products from interfering with the follow of entertainment. Even my laptop started connecting to the device. Luckily, we were able to figure this out in less than 30min. Once the settings were adjusted, no more problems :)

This works great! Easy installation and hookup. I think it’s the best Apple TV yet. Highly recommended.

The newest Apple TV 4K has a great picture. The remote is a little different and take some getting use to the navigation of it and the Apple TV 4K menus. Would be nice if you could more easily turn the product on and off without having to navigate the menu.

We love that it was so easy to connect and use. It was seamless to use with all of our Apple products.
