Great addition to watch 4K movies

Time for an Upgrade

It takes a little practice to use the new style remote, but it's worth it. The built in siri/voice search features are great and it's a lot faster.

Great upgrade

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a gift for my parents as an upgrade to their older generation Apple TV. The interface is much more sleek than the older model and the ability to add apps from the App Store is a huge plus. My only complaint is that the new remote is touch sensitive which makes typing in email addresses more difficult than it needs to be (you can click the touchpad left/right etc. but in that case why have the touchpad?)

Best conduit in my opinion to utilize all of the different subscription services such as HBO, netflix, paramount, etc. TVs that have these streaming apps built in don’t allow for a seamless and fluid situation because most of the time the processors in the TVs are completely underpowered to effectively work. One bug in this Apple TV that is probably software related is sometimes the Apple TV doesn’t wake up for sleep. Have to unplug it and reboot. Others have had the same issue that I have read online. Solved this by going into settings and switched sleep to “never”. No issues since doing do.
