With the redesign that Apple made to their Macbooks, it's pretty much necessary to have this adapter if you're planning on connecting anything to your laptop. That said, this is a handy addition to my Macbook.

Works well super annoying that needs to be purchased. seems like apple is nickle and diming customers, but it at least works well

Love this adapter! Love the fact that it takes up 1 of the usb-c slots but gives you one back on the adapter. It's not bulky either fits in any pocket. Great product!

I have been an Apple user since the early 90s. Great products, but sometimes accessories seem overprice, but you know it will work unlike some other adapters you will find on the market.

This is he must have item for any MacBook owner. And if the price is something which makes you hesitant in buying it ,then Best Buy Open box deals can't be beat.

This product works perfectly but unfortunately the piece will bend significantly when each port on it is used and it seems like it is damaging the cable. I wish it was less bulky but it does the job!

If you want to connect to any monitor or usb then you will have to have this. it works just sucks after paying so much for MacBook that you have to buy this as well

Yes it is pricey. But it is Apple so you can pretty much guarantee it will always work. I have not had the same success with other USB-C adapters.

You need this for a MacBook Pro as the computer only has Thunderbolt 3 ports. This allows you to connect devices that require other types of connection.

This accessory has been so helpful! I have used it to plug in other tools or memory sticks but also have used it to use my computer with a TV. Great!

It's a necessary evil that does what it's suppose to do. I understand why apple went USBC on the MBP. But they didn't have to make all of the ports USB to force you to by this.

The adapter worked as advertised with incredible speeds for the flash drive. The HDMI also worked great and provided smooth playback when plugged into the computer.

I tried out the USB and HDMI connections and it works well. I have no complaints regarding this product. As with most Apple products, it is built well and has the three essential ports of USB, USB-C and HDMI.

It gives you a few ports from one which is handy and it works well, it's not too big. The USB is 3.0 so thats good. The only problem I have with it is that the HDMI is only 30Hz at 4k and would prefer 60Hz.
