Apple typically prices their accessories a little higher than the rest of the competition, but for my needs and budget, this will do just fine. If anything, it's a good substitute for those $80-90 USB-C adapter hubs that cost way too much for the average person.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately, Macbooks don't come with USB ports any longer, so this workaround is needed to connect USB devices to the computer. A good thing about this item is the length of the cable, if it was any longer it would be inconvenient and clumsy. I've been using it for about 2 months without any problems.

Mac Dongle-Necessary to Access Regular USB data

It's a pain but it works. I would rather have paid more for the computer and had the USB port built in.
