Necessary, useful, expensive

I have need to connect USB, and other peripherals to my Mac, and since it has only USB-C input/outputs, I am stuck. I don't blame Best Buy as the representative was very clear about what I would need. However, I am not pleased at all with Apple. My rating of the adapter is a reflection of my displeasure with Apple more than any problem with the dongle, except for price.
