I don't use this product as much as I thought it would because I don't really plug any external items to my computer. But it's great to have just in case and it's affordable. The few times I have used it, it's been great.

Does what it needs to do. I thought I could do without a USB adapter with my MacBook Pro, but this proved invaluable during travel.

This Apple USB-C to USB adapter works great. I am slightly disappointed we needed it at all but it does run efficiently and allows fast data transfers from traditional USB devices to the Mac.

I was badly in need of an adapter because I upgraded my apple laptop and had no way of access my files for work at home off my external drive. Barely made it to the store before it closed. This totally came through in the clutch. Works perfect with external drive and iphone.

It felt njects my hard drive a memory reader in a snap. It's expensive especially cause you probably need two or three at least.

The item works great, but in total Apple fashion, they make you buy stuff that is just included in every other product.

Was told the new port is the wave of the future and soon this adapter will be useless because all accessories will use the new USB-C but I’m not falling for it. But yes you definitely need it to hook up anything to your Mac that uses an USB. But what’s weird is you need an adapter to use the new Apple EarPods as the connection on the computer is the old round style. Geez Apple pick a lane

This product is necessary to use a USB drive with my MAC. Haven't had any trouble. However, if it comes down to it you can't be charging your laptop and using the adapter at the same time. Makes sense...until your computer battery is dead and you need it to transfer a file to your USB drive. #poorplanning

Works great! I use it to transport pictures from a SD card and flash drive never had any problems works great!

Does exactly what it needs to do. Fair price. Im torn with how i feel about how dangly it is from my laptop but it does its job so cant really complain.

I just purchased a new 2017 macbook with usb-c ports. This adapter helped expand into my existing usb devices with no issues.

Very useful especially if you have a Mac. I use mine every day

It’s exactly what I needed to hook my MacBook Air to my Samsung monitor. I like a larger screen than the 13.5” that came with the MacBook Air.

Gave this product 4 stars only because there was only one USB port. Works good but with apple would have added in a extra port.

another way for apple to make you spend more money, by changing their attachments but this one works fine.

Does what it’s intended for. Haven’t used it too much yet, but so far seems good.

So glad they sell these. I was confused at first why Apple doesn’t automatically have a USB port because this was a lifesaver. Unfortunately majority of my products still use the old school USB port.

This is a must have to use your usb storage drives to download your saved files from you windows based computers

Simple USB-C to USB dongle to use with iPadPro when you need to connect a USB device. A little pricy.
