Light weight and easy to store in bag. Couldn’t find one that was compatible and this one didn’t cost as much either

A bit pricey because it carries the Apple brand name, but this is the way to convert from USB-A to USB-C. It’s a high-quality item in terms of performance. I do wish Apple used stronger thread around its wires, but ... still, this was a good purchase.

Looks solid and should last a few years. I just wish that the MacBook Pro would come with a USB port.

This product is essential if you buy the new MacBook. There is a $70 dollar usb-c to usb 3.0, HDMI, and something else, but the usb 3.0 port is all most people will ever need. (Plus $70 is kinda pricey for a converter!!) There aren't any 3rd party converters that seem any good. You're better off sticking with Apple.

Works great for USB to USB-C connections, way easier and more reliable than the multi connection docs for the USB- C inputs on the new macs, I have one of those too and it always seems to lose its connection, this one stays connected even if your moving your laptop around.

I had to purchase USB-C-to-USB Adapter because my USB did not fit in my new computer and I needed some of my papers and spread sheet off of my old computer I transferred all my files to the USB and with adapter I have all my files instead of paying to transfer my files.

I like it but if u have more then one USB I suggest to get the multiple adapter ... I mean it dose its work

This worked in a pinch where I needed to use a USB-A Thumb drive. No issues with MacOS or the VM I was using to pick this up. It's also good if you need to charge something and you only have a USB-A connector.

I had previously purchased a cable that came with HDMI, USB-C, USB, and micro SD and it worked fine for the price. Then I wanted to upload pictures to my computer from a USB memory and wow, it took forever to upload into my MAC. Decided to try out the Apple USB connection…Apple USB uploaded in seconds. Totally recommend if ure uploading many pictures or info from USB into a computer.

My son uses this for his homeschool, and stem projects. The graphics are beautiful and so sharp. It works flawlessly, and is such a great change from pc. I can see this computer serving him well for a very long time.

Although EXPENSIVE, It allows you to connect old USB connectors to type C connections.

My only complaint is that one should have been included with the laptop as this item isn't just a want with the new MacBook. It's a need. It's basically how you make you macbook talk to usb devices. Without it or after market accessories like it connecting to external devices would not be possible.

It is a little annoying to have to use an adapter in the first place but... I guess it gets the job done. It's a little longer than I expected so I'm always worried about it getting jostled/ caught on something whenever I have a flashdrive plugged in. It obviously doesn't have the magsafe feature so I imagine one good tug can do a bit of damage. If you must use a flashdrive, this works fine.
