This adapter allowed me to connect my camera and i was able to edit videos I had recorded on my camera. Great product.

Unfortunately most devices need additional adaptors. This is a good one. I use one in my car and two for different computers at home. I think the price is reasonable for an apple product.

I purchased this along with my new MacBook. There's not much to say about this product. It does what its made to due. However, those who travel and want to use a portable charger along with a standard USB cable, this adapter does not work. You will have to purchase a separate USB to USB-C cable for that.

it's not bests buy's fault, but these things are kind of the worst. you need them because apple took away USB ports from their laptops, and then you have to buy these every few months when they stop working and/or corrupt the data of whatever was plugged in. anyways, if you take care of it, it can last you maybe a year.

I recently got my 1st Mac so I needed an adapter because I've always had PC's or laptops. The connection on the Mac is different so I use this to connect other devices to my Mac. Works perfectly for me!

I hate that the new MacBook Pro doesn't have a built-in usb port but this one works fine and it's strong.

A super necessary adapter for the MacBook at least till we have all hard disks and Pendrive supporting USB c. It's really sad that one has to buy this adapter separately. It would have been better if apple just gave this along with the laptop considering the price of the new MacBook.

Needed this for new apple computer. Works great but is pricey. Wish everything did need to be bought separately.

This is a lifesaver for those times when there just are not enough USB ports for everything you need to hook up.

Does as it says.I can also use it with various devices. Only thing I must mention is you have to use some force when plugging in your usb-A/B devices. I originally thought the plug was too small.

Since the new Apple laptops only have USB-C ports I needed a way to access my flash drives. This is perfect for that. It also allows me to use my USB to lightning cables so I can charge my phone, mouse, and laptop. This is a definite must have item if you chose the MacBook Pro!

With technology updating and ports changing on their devices, this was a necessary purchase for my new MacBook Pro due to the port changes. At first I felt that it was just one more thing needed and one more thing to carry around but I have yet to feel a burden of this item.

This device worked flawlessly with the new MBP 16". This is a must have for the newer style Macs. I'm never excited about the price of these things according to the prestige of Apple, but OEM is always the best choice. JE

Apple produces a great product and you pay for it. But worth it for sense of security and reliability.

Since Apple decided not to install USB ports in their laptops you have to have something. This allows you to plug in at least that something. Apple just opened an aftermarket since they were too cheap to give us USB ports.

Works with new Macbook Air to allow user to connect older USB devices such as older printers.
