Useful little adapter

This adapter is not necessary for every day use since most of tasks and devices today connect to eachother wirelessly, specially in apple’s ecosystem

The this adapter can come in handy when you have any android devices that you need to import photos or and type of data from.

My only complaint is the price. $10 for an adapter is a bit crazy in my mind, but if you're buying a new MacBook Pro with USB-C, then $10 for an adapter won't set you back too much.
