The Pro2 has crystal clear picture and sound. They were very simple to install and setup. (Less than an hour for 2 cameras) I am able to watch my kids when I am away. Night vision and view it all from your cell phone

I am very happy with the performance of this camera system. I live in the boonies with less than stellar internet connectivity. This system comes with its own router and performance is pretty reliable. Range is awesome. I have a large property and I can customize which cameras turn on when and adjust the sensitivity of the cameras for 360 coverage of my house. I added a 7th camera to cover my gated entrance and driveway. All of my cameras are mounted in trees. I added camo skins to the cameras and camo duct tape to the mounts. Video quality is excellent. I like that I can turn off alerts for certain types of activity. For example, I don't want to be alerted at night to animal activated recordings. There are definitely some improvements that could be made the the system but overall it is outstanding and I am happy with my purchase. And the installer from BB was awesome...well worth the $150 installation fee.

Despite some reviews, the video quality is good. The system was easy to set up and mount. My only complaint is the "very loud siren" and 2 way volume. The alarm s slightly annoying at best and far from anything that can be considered loud. This goes for the 2 way talk feature as well. You can barely hear it. If niether of those are important to you, definitely go for it. Great camera's aside from that.

Purchased this with high hopes coming from Arlo Pro. Specifically the continuous video recording (CVR) and solar charging were the motivation to purchase the new Arlo Pro 2 and solar panel. An issue with these two features is exact reason why it is getting returned today. To enable the CVR feature, the Arlo Pro 2 camera has to be connected to a power source such as the solar panel. Placed the solar panel in direct sunlight and the camera where it needs to be, but received a notification through the app that "Charging Paused. Camera's battery temperature is too low." Currently it is 18 degrees outside. Would be ok with just the battery, but the motion detection has missed a few subtle things such as how the mail man magically appeared at the mailbox and then the next video shows him leaving. Sure, the settings probably could be tinkered with, but not too confidence building when things matter so to me this leads to CVR requirement. Dissappointed because in concept, the features and accessories such as the solar panel are sound. However, it appears it was not fully tested along with the lack of disclosure such as operating temperature range being provided.

Got this set during thanksgiving, and used for a month or so. Works great so far. I really like the ease of setup, it only took about 10-15 minutes. The app interface is also pretty easy to survey across. Video quality is also good as a 1080p. One thing is that three of the cams only have the magnetic base, which make me feel a little bit unsafe to put those on the roof outside. Overall it is a good home security set with reasonable price.

I bought the Arlo Indoor/Outdoor camera to put above my front door because somebody was leaving weird stuff by it. The Arlo camera was VERY easy to set up via the app. It is exactly what I needed, and what I expected. The picture is very good, and the sound is pretty clear. The night vision is also great, and the battery is still completely full after being setup a couple weeks ago. The only thing (which I expected) is that sometimes when it gets windy the camera picks up on the movement of my bushes. I also have a very curious wasp that likes to dance in front of the camera which will send me notifications. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase, however, I have not caught the culprit yet :) maybe the camera scared them off.

I have purchased several Arlo camera systems. The picture and video quality is great and I like the fact you have 7 days of free video storage to review and download. The batteries don’t last long especially if there’s a lot of activity. I also purchased the solar panels to keep them charged and to avoid taking the cameras down to change the batteries.

These offer great picture and video quality. The audio is very good as well. Hearing someone across the street is very easy. My only complaint is the rechargeable battery. Arlo has been helping with the short battery life with longer charging cables, and solar panels. They know they have room to improve and seem to be working on it.

I did a lot of shopping around before settling on the Arlo Pro 2. I am so pleased with these cameras. Easy to install. App is easy to use. Picture quality is great (1080 not 720). Battery life is better than expected. Arlo is on top of their game, coming out with new accessories all the time. I bought back up batteries and the charger so when it’s time to charge the batteries I can just swap them out. Next on my list is the spot light and to swap out my nest doorbell for the Arlo.

I am a fan of Nest products because the quality & functions it uses. Purchased Arlo because of the good reviews AND 7 days free cloud storage. #1 - depending on where you place the camera, you will constantly get notifications in which there is no way to turn them off or at least adjust the motion. It is having a hard time identifying between the curtain blowing & our dog roaming the house. So notifications constantly goes off. #2 - the Live feed does have 3-5 second delay. I like it within a second like my Nest camera. #3 - the base station had to go thru some sort of update so I could not figure out where does it update from. Turning it on, turning it off. Had to set up the app on the phone and thats where it tells you theres an update for the base. So it is not as simple as pressing “sync”.

I wish I could give it more stars because it was very easy to setup and use. Only one firmware update and not several like other things I have bought. However, it is down right misleading to list activity zones as a feature on this site and on the box, with nothing saying I have to spend $14.99 to activate this feature. This feature should either be listed as part of a subscription service only or worded to say that it has the potential for activity zones with a paid subscription. THE ONLY FEATURE ON THE BOX THAT SAYS "REQUIRES A PAID PLAN" is the "Optional 24/7 CVR." I'm fine with that as it was part of the agreement, and clearly written on the box. Charging for me for the pleasure of using my $1000 camera system I paid for to "set specific areas to monitor motion" when your packaging leads one to think it is free and included is a joke. Best Buy should update their website, and the packaging is 100% a lie anyway you read it. To make matters worse, they only include two micro USB cables and two chargers with the 6 cameras, and they made sure to recess the port, so if you think you can use your old cell phone cable, think again! They made the insulation at the connector extra extra small to fit, and even designed the circuit so that their charger outputs 9V instead of the standard 5V!?! I get not including 6 chargers, but making the USB cord abnormal like that on purpose is salt on the wound after the misleading packaging. Would the extra $4 really have made this not profitable for Netgear? Then you find out after reading their site it isn't any ordinary USB, but requires 9V?!? It is trivial to design a circuit that would operate on 5V (or should be). I don't get it. This has the potential to be a great product in my opinion, but I can't condone the misleading packaging and charging me extra for USB cables and chargers that should be included (after you purposely made them proprietary). I totally get it is a cloud based service and Netgear wants a continuing revenue stream to cover costs, but if you are going to resort to lying to the customer and gouging for things that should be included, why bother.

Not only am I happy about the price but also the ease in which it took to get up and running. However the length of battery life is not what I would like it to be but then to my dogs are always activating the sensors . Over all they have been a good investment!!

I know that there have been people walking around our home at night and it makes me unable to fall asleep at night. We've had many things stolen and cars broken into. But I feel so much more in control now that we got Arlo! I can see what's going on at any given time, while I'm away...simply, from my phone! This means so much to my sanity! Super easy to set up and the magnetic holders make it so easy to take down and recharge (they come with a charging cable). The app that connects to them lets you know their charge status. And I'm able to turn each one off, individually, while I'm home during the day to help conserve battery power, also.

Easy setup and high quality video. I mean you get what you pay for. 1080p is great for overall coverage. If you’re looking for license plate detection and to read fine prints from a distance, invest in the 2k or 4K.

Arlo-Pro 2 Camera system is very easy to set up. The video quality is excellent. I would have rated it a 5 star but the audio needs to be improved. Away from home I could hear but actually talking to the other side where the cameras are located is difficult to hear. The response is delayed. Also, I had to figure out how to grant access to another person since there was no instructions. Overall it is a nice camera system which I use to keep an eye on my 95 year old mother.

We bought the Arlo Pro 2 - 4 camera security system. Extremely easy to install with the help of an iPad to get the cameras in the best possible position. Easily downloadable App and device set up. We were up and running in no more than an hour and a half. Super awesome app features let you record, snap pictures and talk to delivery man right through the camera. Super sharp images both in daylight and dark. Voice feature seems crisp and clear. The only somewhat negative comment would be to Arlo as to why they don’t provide a certificate to provide to your insurance company for a discount.

Was looking for a replacement camera for the logi circles that could go outside and were motion activated. A best buy rep suggested the Arlos, after a but of research decided to get the 6 pack these are mostly getting installed outside for filming hummingbirds. The motion detection is top notch, the colors are amazing and we purchased these on sale for 799. We have has them up for a little over a month and they are awesome. The best camera we have used so far and we have had the logi circle 1, 2, and Nest. The pack came with free 7 days of storage, we ended up adding an additional camera and upgraded the plan to 30 days for a very reasonable 100 per year, well worth. Do not hesitate buy these cameras you will not be disappointed.

We absolutely love this Arlo security camera system. From it's easy set up, great picture/video quality, to convenience to move, add, charge and adjust within the smartphone/tablet app, I really feel like this system is one of the best on the market. Free cloud storage is an added benefit however I also opted to plug in a USB drive to the base to record and save videos on. One issue I've found is if you are planning on putting a camera behind a glass window, say trying to monitor/record outside video while mounting the camera inside behind glass, it does not seem to pick up motion outside to record. I assume this is due to the glass interfering with the motion sensor. On a funny side note, the first night we had it set up we discovered that we have frogs in our garage and they were recorded crawling up our window, looking for flies I'm sure. The other concern I have is if you are considering using this as a baby monitor, you have to rely on the alerts within the app and your wifi. If your wifi stops working, you can't access your camera and you better ensure your settings are correct if you want to receive prompt alerts to monitor a sleeping baby. We still opted to have a separate, non wifi, baby monitor because we just couldn't trust the app notifications and our wifi. There is a few second delay within the app so that also may be an issue for a variety of reasons. We have to charge the batteries approximately once a month and that depends on how sensitive you have the motion and recording settings or how often you access the cameras. They are also convenient to use as intercoms. We chose to add additional cameras to the system which were also very easy to add, simply press a button on the base and a button on the new cameras and you're good to go. Just make sure if you're using them as a security video recording system to set them up within the the "Mode" settings within the smartphone app to record. My favorite part of this system is the ease of being able to move the cameras wherever you want with the included half dome magnetic mounts, two included in the package. The cameras are light enough to double side tape to the walls instead of having to drill/mount, at least for inside mounting purposes. If we were going to put them outside, I feel screwing them in would be the best option. I would suggest mounting them somewhere that is easy to access because of having to dismount the cameras, simply pulling them off the magnetic mounts, to charge the batteries.

Would not hesitate to make this purchase again. Easy installation. Industry leading features, free online 7 day rolling camera stirage, very reasonable upgrade plans available. I opted to upgrad (not required), but a bargain at under 10 bucks a month. Push notification and so much more. Cameras are leaps and bounds ahead of the older arlo pro models. Ive been running my cams for a few days now and minimal battery consumption. Still near a full charge. A definite solid 5 star product and no regrets.
