I purchased the ARRIS 1750 dual Band Wi-Fi router to replace a phone modem that I was renting from Comcast Xfinity for $10 per month. There are not many modem/routers that will work with Comcast Xfinity's system and the ARRIS was a bit pricey, but I'm sure to get return of my investment in the long run. The unit itself is extremely fast and reliable. I highly recommend this ARRIS product.

I was pleasantly surprised that this product was exactly (minus the white casing) the same as the $14/mo rental I was using from Xfinity/Comcast. I wish I would have found it earlier to save money on my monthly cable bill. If it weren't for the activation with Xfinity/Comcast, I would have easily given this 5 stars. Activation (thank you Arris for providing a phone number to Comcast) was less than optimal. It took the Comcast representative and I about 25 minutes to get this up and access to the internet. I did follow Arris' suggestion that I do it from a computer, which did make things easier for a tech novice. Perhaps I'm being unfair to Arris for holding back one star, but when I set up the rental unit, it went smooth as silk. All in all - ditch your rental and buy your own cable combo modem. You'll be glad you did each month that the bill comes in.

After purchasing another brand's combo router/modem (Netgear), I realized it only had 2 Ethernet ports and no phone jack port. I had made a call to an Xfinity technician with another issue and I mentioned my dilemma. She promptly looked at some of Xfinity's recommendations and this Arris unit was one of them. It was a bit more money than the Netgear but so worth it in terms of features and the speed is also much faster than the Netgear model. It was so easy to set up and the technician even called back to finish the setup on Xfinitys end. She then had the phone technician connect the phone as well. This final setup took about 20 Minutes! Provides great coverage throughout our 2 story home and the speed is super fast.

I previously had An older model Arris, basically the same model but because of its age, it was a lot slower. This newer model is twice as fast as the older one And I received over twenty dollars in credit for recycling the older model. After using the credit points from my Master Card, I virtually got it for free!

Replaced a Linksys modem/router after it failed from use after year. Upgraded to this and so far no problems. Delivers fast enough internet over wifi with my 200 mb/s connection across my entire apartment through a few walls to my gaming desktop. Consistently get speeds equivalent to using an ethernet cable even at such long distances which surpassed my expectations.

I wanted to eliminate paying Xfinity $13.00 a month to rent their router/modem. This was well worth the investment and it was so easy to set up. I didn’t even need to call Xfinity to activate as directions in the box were so helpful. It has worked without any problems since I connected it. No dropped WiFi or calls.

Good price powerful signal, great features. Easy to install. No issues. It's like it's not there. Dont have to go back to it to do anything. With Cmaera system, irrigation system, phones tablets and TVs everything works great! Glad I did not buy the more expensive ones I saw in the store

Wanted to get rid of all the equipment I had rented for years and cut the cord on TV service from Comcast. This is just what I needed and for a good price. Easy installation and customer service. Sure wish I would have done this a long time ago.

Easy to install with Xfinity. Works flawlessly with the triple play and I’ve used these in at least 4 homes. Save yourself a monthly rental fee, this modem/router will pay for itself in about a year and will last much longer than that.

This dual band WiFi router cable modem is sooo much faster than the old Comcast router I had. The dual band is awesome and WiFi downloads are as fast as the previous router LAN downloads. Connectivity is much better throughout the house. If you have Comcast high speed internet with phone, this is the router/modem you need.

I love everything about my modem. It was easy to setup, I save more with owning my own, the white matches my room and it connected to my services at a blink of an eye. The light are kind of bright at night making it difficult to keep a dark room.

I have been renting a router from Comcast for many years because I thought it would be too hard (technically) to install one of my own. I needed one with a phone line input. And I had many systems using the wifi that I thought I would have difficulty reinstalling: computer, phone, iPad, Sonos, camera system, an apple wifi signal repeater and TVs using roku and fire tv. The Best Buy representative was very knowledgeable and steered me to this router, which is a bit faster than the one Comcast rented to me. My whole reinstallation project only took three hours and this router will pay for itself in about 15 months!

Contract Chang with Comcast to get best price on packaged deal. Needed WIFI Router that would accept phone line. Works well in my 1,700 sq ft house no dead spots. Easy setup give info to Comcast and up and running. If you own your own router Comcast does not retain your password on file for router.

Based on my initial experience, I am more than happy with this router. First, it produces a super fast experience for my mothers computer. She has 100 Mbps service with Comcast. She does not need a lot of speed. Moreover, it can handle my siblings devices all at once especially since it is a dual band router. Overall, everyone is happy!!!

Installation was pretty easy and it works well. One of the last options for modem/router/telephone on the market.
