Setup was relatively easy. Download speeds are fast as advertised but only if you are within 20 feet of it. WiFi range is terrible. Does not reach beyond about 20-25 feet.

I don't understand the positive reviews. Poor range, and for anything not Wi-Fi 7 (and right on top of the thing) the speeds are worse than a Wi-Fi 5 budget router. The mobile app is rough, the web interface is slow, and it performs so poorly that I hesitate to even try to sell it to someone else. Weird web socket disconnects (like Twitch chat), some 2.4GHz devices get randomly dropped, and a multitude of other weird glitches. Wish I was still in the return window. Will never buy an Arris again.

This combo router and WiFi device will future proof you as far as Internet goes. Setup is easy but the app used to interface with the device did not work. I had to call customer service and manually set it up. For that reason it gets 4 stars.

For whatever reason none of my Apple 6E devices could detect the 6 ghz band. For 3 days I tried every suggestion from Apple and Arris yet nothing worked. Also for some strange reason when I connect my device ti the network I'm told that my network is hidden despite checking the option to broadcast my network ssid in the modem/router gateway. Considering that the main reason why I bought this was that I could use 6e I'm returning this until Arris gets this sorted out.

Works very well the reason im giving a 3 stars is because arris has the specs for 5000sq foot, and like 30 feet away i lose connect. Because shipped it fast, and i got it fast. No complaints with best buy.

This modem / router sucks. New system with new technology and I lag everywhere in my house which is only 2100 sqf. I walk outside and also signal drops. I’ll be returning for the Netgear Nighthawk which reins supreme. They were out when I purchased the ARRIS.

Gamers be aware. Do NOT buy this. known comcast frequent disconnect issues.
Been having constant disconnect once I swapped from old modem to this one. Searched arris and Comcast forum and this is a specific hardware aka modem issue and there's no fix yet

Worse router/modem combo I’ve ever bought and tried to configure. Their GUI is very dated and not user friendly at all. Couldn’t even get their phone app to work on my iPhone. Save yourself the headache and purchase a different model from another manufacturer instead.
