This game starts off a bit clunky at first but maybe about 20-30 minutes of gameplay coming in you'll start seeing the game shine with the fighting mechanics and controlling a 2nd character solo. Very cool game with an awesome art style with a detective noir style to it as well.

Astral Chain is like a love letter from Platinum Games, mixing the best action with the most over the top style! It's perfect to pick-up and play while adding a layer of difficulty as it progresses.

If you are waiting for bayonetta 3 to come out, then this is a good game for you. This game has that classic platinum games style of play. The combat is good, and the character customization is wide. You do not have to purchase outfits, you earn them while playing the game.

If you are a fan of hack and slash videogames, look no further, this game has you covered, it is made by the same developers that made Bayonetta 1 & 2, it has great weapon and skill up system, nice abilities, combat mechanics and an overall alright story.

I really enjoyed this game and you can tell they put a lot of attention into the little things like cleaning up cans in the city while questioning civilians for clues or talking to the various vending machines with personality AI. The controls have a bit of a learning curve, and I couldn’t change them exactly how I wanted but after a good few hours I got used to it and it was worth it. The combat feels satisfying and I don’t have many complaints. It’s a good game.

Very challenging game. It takes awhile to adapt to and learn all it has to offer. The story is engaging though difficult to immerse in early on. The art style is unique and eye catching. Character customization and the selfie feature are fun!

If you've played other games by Platinum you'll kind of know what to expect though the combat is a bit different than their other games with the legion system. One you get used to it it's pretty fun, tho I like it better when the fights happen in larger open spaces so you can let loose. I enjoyed it overall, maybe not as much as their other big action games. Interested to see if AC will get a sequel and how Platinum could improve it.

Purchased for a friend who really enjoys Platinum Games' trademark blend of action combat and unique gameplay elements that keep things interesting, this was a nice surprise to have such a great game on Switch, which also has Bayonetta from the same developers.

The game is great, but I just found it odd that, despite having hired VAs for both the male and female protagonist, the protagonist you choose is silent in all gameplay, dialogue, and cutscenes, save for some grunts and anime breath sounds. Combos aren't as seamless and "endless" as they are in NieR Automata and MGR Revengeance, but it still very much feels like a Platinum Games game, probably most comparable to NieR because of the AI companion.

Astral Chain is an interesting take on the Platinum game's formula. Very nice graphics for Switch and cool sci fi aesthetic. The gameplay isn't as fluid or fast paced as other Platinum titles but its a fun game that tries some new ideas for a Platinum game.

I didn’t know what to expect when I picked this game up but I was pleasantly surprised at how fun and interesting it is. The animation is great and the story is intriguing though familiar in some aspects. There’s a lot to discover if you take your time with it.

This game lets you pick between a boy and a girl. I highly suggest you pick the girl for the only reason you can wear short shorts. The short shorts are provactive and they get the people going. I guess the game was pretty good 10/10

This game is on par to the great titles such as bayoneta. The combat system is amazing once you get the hang of it. the animation and the flow of it is one of the best ive experienced. It makes you feel powerful. great game .Thanks nintendo and platinum games.

I don't know what to put here without giving way to some spoilers, because with a game like this, the story unfolds in unexpected ways each turn. It's a Rollercoaster and it's absurd but it is a blast the entire way through.

Honestly was super excited for this game and it lived up to the hype. The story can be confusing, but it is a fun trip. Enjoyed the combat and if they are still printing it; definitely worth the money.

It took a few hours to get used to the combat system, but once it clicked there was no turning back. I have never played a game that is so stylish and action packed. It’s been an incredible experience so far and I highly recommend it for fans of the genre.

Astral Chain is a great game. I have played about 6 hours of these story so far and have no complaints. Controls take a bit to get used to, but once you get the hang of it the game is very enjoyable. Would recommend getting this if you haven't already!

If your a fan of Nier Automata or Bayonetta this is a must buy game. The gameplay and plot is exceptional and fun while also thrilling when playing. The multiplayer is also fun allowing to play co-op with friends while running smooth on the switch.

Great game! Easy to get into a game session and get out.
