Forget the PlayStation platformer mascots of PS past. Crash, Spyro, Jak and even Sly Cooper himself have got nothing on Astro Bot. This game has Super Mario levels of polished and creative design that is all so incredibly fun to play. The controls are super tight and responsive while making some very creative use of the DualSense controller’s haptics and adaptive triggers. This can best be felt when using the powerup weapons, blasting off on the controller ship or in any of the excellent boss fights. The entire game is loaded with whimsical charm. The music is all super catchy and charming like the score found in any great Sonic or Mario game. The bot characters are all super cute and most of them reference the great PS games from SIE and third-party publishers like Capcom and Konami. I loved seeing MGS and RE pop up in this game! Shame Square-Enix couldn’t play ball with their characters. The environments are super colorful and nicely varied from spooky old haunted ruins to snowy mountain tops. This is really the closest thing PlayStation has ever had to a “Mario” game. It oozes with the same love and care that Nintendo puts into the 3D main Mario games. I had a blast playing this one with my kids. It really reminded me of playing Mario 64 with my family back in the day. It’s actually that good. Do yourself a favor and play Astro Bot!

Love this game! My 10yo is obsessed but I find myself asking him to play it too. The graphics are cool and the gameplay is super fun. It's challenging but not so hard you want to give up on it.

What a blast this game is! My personal GOTY. If you have kids, dont miss out on this game. Its packed with family fun and the nostalgia of platform games mixed with awesome technology. Congratulations to Team Asobi and thank you Best Buy for my copy.

My five year old son has been wanting to play this game since he's seen it on the PS4 but could never play it because we needed to upgrade. We got him the new PlayStation so he and the family could start playing the newest games and he got this have for Christmas. He loves it and it's everything he wanted it to be. I haven't really played it much but it seems pretty cool it's only a one player though.

Game of the Year! I love the game mechanics, the worlds are gorgeously rendered, the levels are not too difficult, and Astrobot is the new face of Playstation. All the little easter eggs are adorable too and brought me back to my childhood- nostalgia overload. Its a great game to play with the family too. Must-buy!

This game is one of the few that I have Platinumed. Some of the challenges at the end are really tough, but I kept trying, some for multiple days in a row, and I was able to beat all the levels including the free DLC. I think it was totally worth it!

This game is amazing! We learned about Astro Bot after playing Astro Playroom, and this did not disappoint. It's like all the best elements of a platform can be found in the game. Additionally, the game was well-packaged and is one of those games in which a physical copy is a MUST-HAVE. We look forward to the next Astro game!

If you enjoy playing Mario bros games, you'll love the Astro Bot games. This one I bought for my kids, but I ended up playing it more than they do. This game is a 10 out of 10. Gameplay is so entertaining. Lots of cool lil Easter eggs and hidden stuff in the Astro Bot games.

Such a beautiful piece of gaming bought it off of Best Buy at only $43.49. Came in excellent condition, and fast pick up time too. Runs smoothly on my PS5 and feels great with the duel sense controller. Would purchase more games from Best Buy

Amazing game. Nice homage to 3D Mario games while also celebrating 30 years of PlayStation history. Not overly difficult while some levels can be a challenge and might take multiple attempts. Perfect for younger audience but adults can enjoy it just as well. Graphics look gorgeous and not a single frame drop in sight on the PS5. The haptic triggers and dual sense features are featured in clever and inventive ways on almost every level and are a blast. Amazing exclusive for PlayStation owners. Worth the $50 I paid for it.

If you like 3d platformers and collectathon games like Mario, Spyro, etc. then i highly recomend buying Astro Bot. I also bought the Limited Edition Astro Bot Controller as well because i like this game so much. My only complaint is that i had to pay mark up price and buy controller from Ebay Seller because it sold out in stores. I am about 50% complete after playing for roughly 40 hours. I plan to 100% complete and also get the Plantium Trophy. After i'm done i am going to play Astro's Playroom which i never played before.

One of the best single player games out in the market for the PlayStation I think, just as good a Mario game for Nintendo.

GOTY last year, game is made for everyone to enjoy, I’d say it’s an evolution of what you typically see out of the modern day Mario game. Mario has big shoes to fill after Astrobot.

This platformer game brings me back to my childhood! Now, I'm 48 years old and mostly play this with kids, but try to secretly sneak in some playtime here and there. All of the cameos to Playstation games gets me every time. Just the satisfaction of throwing the Leviathan Axe is enough the justify the pricetag. Just a must play game for the PS5 and guaranteed to bring genuine magic and joy with each playthrough for fans of Playstation 1 through now.

A1, AAA game! This game reminds me of the impact Crash Bandicoot had on the original PlayStation. Astrobot won Game Of The Year for a good reason!

A must buy! If you enjoy Astro’s playroom then you’ll really love this! Same similar concept with so much to do, so many worlds and areas to explore. Easy to hop back into different areas and collect what you may have missed as well.

Really fun game but some of those bots were a killer to get. Some levels took me no exaggeration 30-50 times to beat (to get all the bots). BUT it was a great game. It's a kid's game with adult difficulty. All the Playstation references and especially the God of War level were awesome.

Usually don’t like platformers but this was just really cute and fun. This is especially true if you’ve been a long time fan of playstation. So many familiar faces in cute robot form.
