Love this headset. Bought this second pair for my wife and she loves them too! Great sounds super comfy and I enjoy the ease of use with PS5 and PC at the same time. Definitely recommend for any gamer out there!

I love this headset it sounds amazing I did have to buy the adapter since I’m on ps5 and I wanted the full fiber optic sound experience they’re super comfortable and service was amazing!

I love the head set you can hear everything around you and the mix amp is great. I love how comfortable the headset it i would highly recommend it for everyone.

Easy setup on the PS4. Plug and play. Took about 3 minutes. Extremely adjustable with the mix amp. I can fine tune the sound to be exactly where I want it with the twist of a either the volume knob or the game/voice knob. While the sound quality of this headset is amazing and I can now hear foot steps on Warzone from 2 buildings over sometimes and know exactly from what direction the game/voice control knob is the best feature of the headset. Need to know exactly where the enemy is but your teams mates are talking? Spin to knob to 100% game and all voices are gone. Playing something like Marvel Avengers where you don’t really need to hear the repetitive sounds to play but you want the conversation of your friends. Spin it to 100% voice and all game sounds are gone. Or you can mix the game and voice sounds anywhere in between. The mix amp also has 4 sound modes to help fine tune your sound. More bass, less bass amongst other things. Push the surround sound button and get lost in the game play. All outside noise is gone and you can focus on the game. I did come from Astro A50’s so the upgrade wasn’t as as drastic as coming from a lower end headset. But still an upgrade.

This might genuinely be the most comfortable headset I have ever worn, and I've used quite a few in my lifetime. Most have given the top of my head pain after a few hours, but this one is amazingly comfortable. The mixamp is also an amazing addition on ps5. Being able to use audio presets (configurable on PC) and hotswap between them is great, not to mention the audio balance and volume dials. It was a little tricky to set up with the HDMI adapter (sold separately), but it's working flawlessly once I got it going. I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, confortable, feature rich gaming headset on ps5.

Great sound, Mixamp is great for adjusting the audio levels. Also, it is the most comfortable headset I've worn compared to any in the past.

Sound great, especially with the diffetent eq settings you can customize with the mix amp. Very comfortable and the mic is good

Have owned A40s for years and they never have had a single issue. Great audio quality, and you can change the ear pieces to something more comfortable for you.

I’ve Always had a great experience with Astro headsets with having both the Astro A40 and Astro A50. With this A40 headset, you get the new Astro A40 station compared to the older version. The headset itself Is the same quality with a metal frame to control the height of the ear cuffs and a plastic/foam head piece to fit comfortably on your head. Solid build and very durable. Note that if you wish to use it on your PlayStation 5, you would need to buy an adapter for it to work as it will on PS4

These headsets has made a difference while I play. I can hear footsteps clearly nice bass, perfect for Call of duty or first person shooter games. The mix amp works perfect while playing and you can hear your friends or if the game is too loud just heard the knob to voice and you can hear your friends better.

This headset was neatly packed and it's very good. I really like the mixamp as you can make the sound to whatever setting you like. The Dolby surround sound is great as sound is very detailed. If you're thinking about getting an astro, get it with the mixamp, as that is what makes these headsets amazing.

Sound quality is great, you need to buy an additional item in order for it to work, this is clear on their website. Once you have the extra part, set up was easy. They are very comfortable for hours of gaming. Voice clarity according to my friend was good and clear.

Was looking for a headset since I play a lot of PFS games and i needed that edge for better quality sound to hear. Did my research; tried couple from Steelseries, gold, razor and even A20 but this A40s are the best out there especially the customizable mix amp that u could program to your own liking with a software on your pc.

These headphones are great for sound and dont have to be charged at any time and then the mix amp is really good if you’re looking into streaming

These headphones are to dieee for. They work wonderfully for my PS4 and you can hear where every footstep comes from. They were built nicely and my ears dont hurt after wearing them for hours like other headsets do. If you're serious about gaming, then definitely give these a whirl.

Pretty good headset and the mix amp helps with audio.I would say $250 is a little more outrageous and $200 seems more fair.

I had the old version A40 with mix amp for PS3, those lasted me about 7 years and they still work, the only thing is my optical cord broke and that why I decided to upgrade with this newer version. Really good headset overall, recommended.
