I bought it to play newer pc games and it's works great. Though the exhaust being next to the place where you plug it in kinda bothered me.

I downloaded GTA 5 video game onto this laptop and it works great. I would definitely recommend this laptop to other people.

Received and once setup using this laptop, found it to be as advertised. Excellent performances, excellent video. This is my second Asus, have another six month old one, also excellent and I just ordered a second one same as this. The value is outstanding. Awesome PC.

This is a great gaming laptop. The graphics are awesome and it works great with the Xbox controller. The only thing that I wish it had is a touchscreen.

We liked this laptop, except for the fact that the ethernet socket would not release the ethernet cord. We looked online and found that it was a common problem with this laptop, and the solution involved using a ballpoint pen cap. Geek Squad at Best Buy said it's just the way they were made. Rather than live with occasionally having to fight to get the ethernet cord out, we returned the laptop.

Wasn't impressed with the overall processor speed, functionality or graphics/screen quality. Not the right build for a true gamer. YES, would recommend for general computer and online use, OK. However NO, would not recommend as suited for a true quality gaming experience, in which I was looking for.

This is a great everyday laptop that has everything a venereal family computer should have.

I play a lot of games and was looking for something that wouldn't kill the budget. The laptop is perfect. I'm running skyrim, elder scrolls online, call of duty, kerbal space program, civilization games (all of them), and many many more all on the highest graphics settings. I keep a decently high frame rate even during parts of play that has many many moving parts. Sturdy design and doesn't show smudges much which is nice. Good keyboard and only really starts getting hot after 2-3 hours of gaming. Only two complaints: 1) The battery life is pretty low but that's kind of expected so just be prepared to lug that charger around. Two: if you use an ethernet for lan connection or just don't have available wifi the lan port is horribly annoying. It has a beautiful idea to be able to spread itself to allow different sized plugs which is great. Except it cause it to clamp down quite hard and is a huge pain to get out. If you don't use the lan \port then you'll never have to worry about it haha. Anyway I've had it for a little over three months at the time of this review and its going great. I'll update in another 3-6 months when I get around to it.

The computer has been excellent until now, games ran max settings (csgo, magic origins, world of warcraft for example) Stays quiet and cool but the only problem I just started to have is the computer light that says its on (i can hear the fans running too) but the screen stays totally black and theres no curser at all. This isn't me bashing it cause of one problem but I still want to let users know of this issue.
