I love ASUS, Except i been having some problems opening up certain links within my Gmail and neex to take into geek squad to look at, as it gives me a link and sends me to windows store to purchase something that allows me to access it but yet i have been unsuccessful even there. This lap top has only one drawback thus far, its a bit slow. This is the first time I have used an ASUS. It is a very sleek and light weight design, which I needed. It has great computing power thus far, but tends to lag just a bit with huge data files. I would recommend the PC, but would also recommend upgrading the HDD.

I actually bought this for a protoge who is a Freshman at the University of Nairobi in Humanities. It is his first computer, It should be just what he needs to get started on reading on the internet, doing papers, and give support in the all-important - for a youngster - support in maintaining connected in social media.

My first machine had a defective power connection. The second one is doing fine. My goal is get it going in Unix. So far so good, with the troublesome difficulties due to Unix, not the computer itself, so I am quite happy, especially with its improvements in speed over my older (4 year old) machine.

Laptop is well priced for the amount that this can do. I don't like that the touch pad is off center, it throws me off but that is my only complaint. Big screen, but it is skinny when close which I love. It is fast and secure. I use it for school mostly and it's been great. A lot of storage.

I bought this Asus laptop because I needed something quickly and did not want to spend a lot; it will be the full-sized laptop that I can feel good about taking with me when I travel. I also picked the Asus because I have had a small Asus netbook, which was also very inexpensive, for a couple of years and it has never given me any trouble. This new 15.6 screen one has exceeded all my expectations. It has been the easiest set up and get going I have ever experienced and is running beautifully. I highly recommend Asus in general and this model in particular.

i have had this laptop for about two weeks and am still very happy with it. It does not have a very fast processor but it is enough to surf the web and do most programs on a computer. If you are looking for a laptop to play games on unfortunately this would not be good for that purpose.

My daughter just started college and needed a laptop. I walked in to my nearest Best Buy and the salesman talked me into this product because it was the perfect bundle for a college student starting out. I have to say this laptop has exceeded my expectations. Really good quality.

Works great, fast Web speed. New screen layout is a bit confusing, to find other installed programs. I'm used to browsing All programs under start menu, but the new format with links for weather, Netflix, Explorer are very handy! Works great so far, great long battery life!

Great for the money and it has a nice big screen.it came with a very nice carry case. It works fine for my school work. I had looked at other ones form other manufacturers. The person at the store was very helpful.with the money I had to spend. This was the best for the price.

I purchased this laptop as a spare to replace a 4 year old Toshiba I was unable t upgrade to Windows 10. For the price I was amazed at the features and capability of the Asus product. I chose this over others because it has an Intel processor, good memory and large enough drive space. It has been used everyday since bringing it home, and still going strong. Lightweight & comfortable keyboard, bright display & all the features of the Toshiba that cost 5 times as much as the Asus. I would definitely recommend this for the average user

It's a good laptop. Has the updated windows which is diff. Getting used to it. Have to unplug and plug in my router every time I want to connect to the Internet. And I can't get it to connect to the printer, so I use the cord connection. Other than those, I like it

We are happy with the computer and the service we received while purchasing it. Funny that we have purchased 2 Asus laptops in the last year and they have different chargers. Recommended to 2 friends as I was using it at our recent fantasy football draft party.

Worked great at the beginning, but was unable to update to Windows 10 for multiple weeks after purchase. Keyboard stopped working for a great time, but overall great laptop. Came with lots of great hardware and features especially for under $300 at the time.

I bought this for my sons 10th birthday. We had a little trouble getting things set up in the beginning. Very limited start up directions, but now that we've had it almost a month things are better. My son uses this for homework, school projects and games.

Good for students. Easy to find things. I had to get an app for everything, like to watch a movie i put in the disc player, which is annoying but i think that might be all the latest computers. It is durable and I will be keeping it.

Needed a laptop for an employee to review e-mail and write documents. This has plenty of storage and operates simply enough to let the employee work away from the office. Nothing too fancy, but sufficient to allow him to be productive.

I think the laptop is definitely good for basic use. My girlfriend doesn't do anything too crazy on it so it's worked for all of her basic needs. I wish the processor was a bit faster, but there is nothing to complain about so far.
