Portable cd writer

I had old CDs of photos and documents that I needed to access and our IT guy recommended this CD/DVD reader. It was great. Well worth the money.

I was wrong. Thankfully, this was an easy, relatively inexpensive solution that does exactly what I need -- allow me to view and use CDs on my new computer. Just be sure that you do have TWO ports available...

It's not often that you need one of these, but this is a good option if you need one.

It's the chip in the new Macs. Not ASUS fault, it's Apple whose products I refuse to purchase because they force you to buy their updates.

Feels fragile and requires two usb ports to properly power up. The usb cable that came with it is very short. If using for a computer, it wont reach the back usb ports and can only reach the front usb ports if you have them.
