I bought this for my 7th grader and she loves it. Has the touchscreen like a tablet but is a full functioning chromebook

got this for my sister in law for Christmas, was originally looking for a laptop until the sales associate started talking to me about Chrome books. I never really knew the difference so I listened to him and watched him show me and explain features and the more I listened the more I liked the idea of Chrome books and this device. As I said, this is a slick little device in function and appearance. Seems to suit her needs well in a convenient sized but not too small of a package

some websites I use are not smart phone friendly, Or limit what you can do from your smart phone. I needed something I could use on a budget and this 2 in 1 chromebook was just that and more.

Bought this for my 6th grade daughter. Most of the school assignment are online now. This works perfect for what she does. She loves it. Thin, light, durable and perfect for her

This is a good chromebook. Not difficult to use but only wish I could increase the font besides zooming up or back.

I am impressed with the keyboard and the hinge in particular...The O/S (Chrome) is another story...

I enjoy that it's compact and easy for on the go. The only thing is that I wasn't told upfront is there's literally nothing on it when you get it like not even basic programs. You have to download them yourself. Most of them are free and you can run offline you just have to make sure you select that you want to be able to do it offline other wise everything on the computer is internet based and doesn't work without internet.

I am a satisfied owner an HP Chromebook 11 G5, but I wanted to try a 2-in-1 Chromebook for travel and to double as a tablet. I exchanged a Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook (see my review on this site) for this ASUS after the Lenovo fell short in nearly every important category. I am impressed with this ASUS Flip C101 Chromebook in so many ways. The aluminum chassis and build quality are solid. The weight is just right for the size. The touchscreen is bright, clear, and very responsive. The touchpad is excellent, and the keyboard has great tactile feel and is quiet (unlike my HP). A micro-SD card slot, two USB-C ports, and a USB 2.0 port are a good combination, although I would love to have had a full-size HDMI port as well. This Chromebook's OP1 processor is fast, and it especially shows with Android apps -- the ASUS is probably twice as fast as my HP to launch apps, and Hulu live TV streams are flawless, whereas they are prone to stutters on the HP with its Intel Celeron processor. Battery life seems to average around 10 hours for me with the screen brightness set at 50%. From a full discharge, it takes 2 hours to recharge if I am not using it. As a 2-in-1, this ASUS Flip C101 outshines any of the Windows convertibles that I have used at work, including HP, Lenovo, and even the Microsoft Surface Book. The ASUS transitions quickly and seamlessly between tent, stand, tablet, and laptop modes. The tablet mode of Chrome OS makes it very easy to operate without the keyboard by adding a few more items to the shelf. I would give this Chromebook 5 stars except for the fact that you can only find the model with 16GB of internal storage. If and when Chrome OS allows Android apps to write to the SD card, this will be less of an issue. There are two other points that contribute to the 4 versus 5 star rating. First, my HP Chromebook 11 G5 has a definite advantage in the audio department with surprisingly rich sound, but the ASUS audio is fine for what I need. Second, the Bluetooth on the ASUS also seems to be a bit flaky in combination with my Sony headphones, especially in laptop mode. Tent mode seems to eliminate most of the problems, which is fine because that's the mode I will likely be using on flights. All in all, I am very happy with this little gem of a Chromebook! If you can catch it on sale as I did, it is a great bargain as well.

This is an excellent laptop providing functionality and portable on a budget. Make sure to check availability first before going to store, these go quick.

This chrome is great for those who want a tablet but still use a keyboard for typing. Allows me to work offline on word docs as well. Love it.

I love this device, the aluminum chassis, and the build quality are good. It has made a great travel companion for me. I don't need to take a more expensive laptop, and with a USB C dongle it works for presentations, backups, etc. Will also charge off of a standard USB C car charger for my phone, as long as the screen is off.

I aspiring writer and I love how small and versatile this chromebook is for writing on the go.

It's a good laptop for students to take on the go and have something to do their work where ever you go.

Was surprised how much I like this chromebook. Boots fasts and decently fast fur what processor it has.

User friendly, small compact and very portable of course. Great for online browsing, photos and music.
