Pros:
Lightweight
It functioned as my primary laptop for a year and nine months
Cons:
The keys started falling off almost immediately.
The touch screen stopped working within the first year
it died today (12/8/19)
Today’s by birthday
It was a brittle thing. I won’t miss it. I’m sort of happy it’s gone.
I’ll be buying another Chromebook, but not this one. Probably not even another one made by Asus.
Im sure nice people work there, but they made this disappointing product. It was not quality. It wasn’t that expensive, but without quality, there is no value.

My husband bought me a laptop for Christmas. The laptop was part of a deal where you got a free google home mini. A week later my laptop quit working....I went to EXCHANGE it and they asked me to either pay for the Google home mini or return it. I paid for it and left without my laptop.

This is my 3rd Chromebook and my 2nd of this brand/style. I’m also a Mac & iPad user, but this is my daily go-to computing device. I was happy to find this one on clearance when I forgot my previous model at home during a conference trip. Cannot beat the quality for the price. Pleased with the update since I can still use my older one as a backup device in my middle school classroom. It’s still going strong after 3 years.
Pros:
-Great display. Love the touchscreen when grading papers online.
-Much better sound than previous model.
-Stainless steel body doesn’t feel inexpensive.
Cons:
-Why did the move the charging port from the back left to the front right? Thankfully, it holds a charge a long time so charging while using isn’t the norm for me.

BEWARE: CHOOSE ANOTHER BRAND

READ LOTS OF REVIEWS AND CONSIDER THEM CAREFULLY. CHECK CONSUMER REPORTS FOR THEIR RATINGS AND EVALUATION OF THE BRAND.
My laptop was a lemon from the start, never functioned correctly, mother board had to be replaced (under warranty) after it completely died, but did not fix the other issues. ASUS refused to help at all, even right after the warranty period, despite the fact that the issues were continued from before the warranty expired. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY. I will NEVER own another ASUS.

My only issue is build quality

My only issue is build quality and this one is going back for an exchange. My unit came out of the box with two dents on the front of the keyboard edges. Not a good start. I like the laptop but if the exchanged one has the same attributes its going back for good.
