i bought an ASUS desktop from best buy. it required an upgrade in memory and best buy suggested the appropriate memory chips to upgrade. it also turns out the system came with a dvd slot but no dvd. and it came with a ssd removable drive tray but no hardware in the system to accept the ssd drive although the desktop system came with the drive caddy. looks like i will have to take it in to the geek squad to get the internal dvd drive and the ssd drive added, in addition to the 1800.00 dollars for the system. when this system was suggested to me, they forgot to mention the parts that didnt come with the box.

Overall, nice gaming computer. I would recommend it.

Purchased this as a replacement PC. We purchased the Adobe Cloud Suite for our daughter for Christmas. We needed a new PC to run all of the apps that come with that package. I decided on this ASUS machine. Christmas morning comes, she opens the Adobe software present then I bring out the new machine. I go set it up and no power. I have built many machines in my time and am used to the symptoms. I looked for one of those little power switches on the power supply, no luck. I opened the case to look for any loose wires, no luck. I re-seated all power cables, no luck. I re-seated all memory modules, no luck. I removed the Nvidia card, no luck. All indications point to a faulty power supply so I will be returning it today unfortunately. And, yes, the photos are misleading. There is no water cooling in this machine.

This computer is hard to clean, especially if you have a pet. The hairs accumulate on top of the air filters and it's almost impossible to remove because you can't remove the covers.

First I would like to say that Best Buy is not at fault in this situation. Best Buy did not build and package this product. the False Advertisement Federal Trade Commission complaint will fall on ASUS. This is clearly a bait and switch which is illegal in the United States, maybe its not illegal where this product was manufactured but it is here in the good old USA. The distinction between Air or Liquid is never made in the advertisement. Best Buy lets open up a box and get some images of what the item really is. I have no beef with Best Buy =).....

after 2 weeks i had to send it back to get the motherboard repaired. it's been 5 weeks, and i'm still waiting to get it back from Best Buy's repair shop.

Open box computer didn't even have a box no power chord front door missing off computer seems like they could have at least cleaned it up it was dirty and finger prints all over it. Just threw it in a dirty sack and said here u go. Charging me almost $1300 dollars for the piece of junk. It's going back.

Plugged it in and turned it on. Doesn’t show a display. All online help says to right click and go to setting. Well guess what. I can’t SEE anything. So how am I suppose to do that? Water 12 years for each respond with ASUS online chat and all he said was to bring it in for a replacement. Thanks expert.

Trash waste of e waste, nothing worked inside the case

A little dated now but plays most games if not at the highest settings. Still better than modern consoles.

So I have not had any issues with this computer. It works great. Nice and fast. I don't do any gaming on it. It's used for everyday work use. My only complaint is the fan runs 24/7 and it is very loud. While I'm working during the day it is always running the fan and even when I'm not on it the computer is just very loud when idle. I've had it since November 2019

This is a great pc that runs with all my expectations, although it is loud as balls.

Got this pc for 3 years now its still working like a beast!!

It has a reputation with over-heating. A month after the 1-year warranty ended the computer over-heated and turned off and has since not been able to turn back on. I went to Geek squad because the warranty ended on the product, but my Geek squad warranty couldn't help, all they could offer was a consultation and a promise they could fix it once I bought new parts. In their opinion they think it's a manufacturer defect. A defect that apparently others have experienced. The motherboard is fried and they can't tell if the CPU or graphix card is damaged beyond that. If you're a gamer and you're looking for a reliable gaming computer, avoid this product. Since it is a computer advertised for gaming you would think it could handle gaming. It didn't own up to it's claims. Don't throw your money away and get stuck with this cup holder. I didn't look well enough at reviews from other sources and I regret that. For the money you pay for this product it is absolutely not worth it. I'm stuck dealing with the manufacturer now and I'll report back if they make it right and replace their faulty product.
