    Considering the rog strix branding, this machine does not have a single RS component. Cheapest Asus turbo 2080 with a single blower fan installed. Stock Asus mobo and ram. Games played fine on it but can do alot better through other avenues for a much higher quality machine. I returned mine.

    Sudden shutdowns often fail to turn on the computer, and the cooling fans are noisy

      We certainly understand your disappointment regarding the Desktop suddenly shutting down and then failing to turn on as well as the fan being too noisy. All ASUS products are manufactured using materials that comply with industry's quality standard. We are seeing that your device comes with the MyASUS application which helps our user to fix product problem, optimizes the performance, re-organizes ASUS software, keeps the desktop clean and rescues the storage. Therefore, we advise that you use the application to run a system diagnosis on the system to assist with the issue you are having. We also advise that you uninstall the battery driver for the device using the folloiwng steps:

      1. Please go to start then control panel
      2. Open Device Manager.
      3. Expand the “Batteries” section.
      4. Right click on “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” and click “Uninstall”.
      5. Once that has uninstalled, a restart is required for the driver to be reinstalled.

    The company might be great the system was inoperable so I haven’t a clue it wasn’t as advertised on the open box reported it and got a better one from Best Buy

    Able to play games at 4k 60fps with no problem at all! Fans can get pretty loud under intensive tasks such as high frame rate gaming or video editing using Adobe. Browsing speeds are fast. However the wifi card struggles with having high download and upload speeds even when connected to a fiber network.

    Incredibly powerful system that works well!

    I contemplated building a system but this has everything I need and at a very competitive price. I’m running plenty of AAA titles with max graphics; however, I also use this is my primary photo editing machine and for graphic manipulation, it screams! You will want to upgrade the mouse for gaming but that is most likely the case with any system. 4K is possible but for gaming you’ll want 1440 or lower and let the very powerful graphics card in this thing deliver FPS in the 120-140hz range. Great value. A wealth of inputs as well.

    Fatal errors/constant crashing/total bust

    I bought this computer for my birthday. The main and only real purpose of buying this machine was to play and experience the full gameplay of call of duty Modern Warfare. Let me just say it has been a total bust. It all started with something so simple as the front Audio jack not reading my headset. I called Asus support and fixed the issue by uninstalling the Realtek audio driver. I should’ve returned my pc after the first issue. Specially with what was to come soon after that. While playing call of duty I would get sporadic in game screen discoloring. I thought it was my average pc monitor acting up so I went ahead and invested in a actual gaming monitor. The issue persisted. Soon after that it start crashing periodically. A few days later after that issue arose, I started to experience black out to the point I would need to restart the whole pc to even be able to get the picture on the monitor back. Here recently I’ve been experiencing fatal errors that lag and shutdown my pc forcing me to reboot the whole system. I’m unable to play the only game I bought this computer for. I have tried sacrificing quality and lowering my FPS when that should be a real factor given it comes with an rtx2080. I expected a lot more from such a reputable company. Now I’m forced to eat my expenses since I’m way over the 45 day return policy with bestbuy. I wouldn’t recommend this pc or brand to my worst enemy. Since December I have only installed 3 games in my pc Call of duty Modern Warfare Warband Rome total war 2 Warband- crashes unexpectedly and suddenly. Rome total war 2- does the same exact thing. Call of duty modern warfare- fatal errors and constant crashing.

    Seems to be really great but I think I got unlucky

    The one I received is fast and works like a very high quality gaming pc should, however it randomly freezes maybe once a day which completely kills the sound and it will no longer pick up my headset till I restart. I'm unsure if mine is faulty or not but its a real bummer.

    PC does not come as advertised from Asus!

    Product does not come with the Asus strix keyboard/mouse combo that is on all of Asus Gl12CX advertising. Comes with generic 10 dollar keyboard/mouse. Very unacceptable for such an expensive Desktop. Also Only 1 fan on the entire pc that is a case fan. Also Cables on PSU are from 1990s

      The GL12CX comes in different variance, the ASUS Strix keyboard/mouse combo doesn't come as standard accessories. The desktop variant being sold at BestBuy doesn't come with the said accessories.

      Yes, there is only a case fan available besides the built-in graphics card fan, the CPU is water or liquid-cooled.

    Absolute lemon

    If you have any pride in you gaming set up, stay away from this so called "gaming ready PC" and anything that ASUS puts out. GPU was overheating and shutting down the whole system. Tried running Monster Hunter World at max and system would crash after less that 5 minutes. I have a PC which is over 10 years old that can atleast run the game with no crashes. Do yourself a favor and quarantine yourself away from this waste of money!
