However, some customers have expressed concerns about the limited storage capacity, noting that it may not accommodate the charger, and a few wish it included a handle for easier carrying.

Great product! Well made, fits the Ally and the material used all around feels premium. It has pockets inside for some accessories or SD cards. Would be a 5 star if it had more pockets for accessories but otherwise it serves it's purpose at the moment! Perfect vessel for my new handheld gaming device, the Ally

Good feel and nice cushioning inside. Fits the Ally perfectly. This is new, so I was expecting simple, but it has a premium feel and slots in the "stand" that can hold SDMicros in the standard cases and another slot for documentations. Removing one start because it doesn't give space for the power supply. With the low life battery, this seems as an oversight. The stand inside the case is more of a cliche than functional. It's too big in the way that it covers the vent holes in the back, and it is too far back to where it covers the vent slots on top, so using it will cause the system to get really hot really fast. It doesn't hold the console very well in this fashion. Would rather have a case on the Ally that has a kickstand like the Switch has. (Like a phone case with a kickstand) But, as a case, this is a very nice premium feeling case.

*case was free add-on.....That aside this case is pretty great. PROS: I like it sits in for airflow and breathing when you put it away you can leave it unzipped and let it fully cool down. It sits perfectly in and have no issues with the fit. The overall styling and materials are great! CONS: Only con I have is...when I got it the box was mangled... like the post office or UPS could not handle thier business nicely and it left a little crease in the foam on the top side.

The Ally fits in it snugly, and there is a bit of a protrusion against the middle-back of the Ally so that the rear vents are not blocked; ergo you can simply unzip the case completely, leave Ally in it, and run a docking cable to it and it can still run and vent air. If I had one complaint it's that the case can't contain the official power adapter (or official dock) in it as well.

    Decent Case For the Ally

I like the leather and design on the outside. In the inside it has enough cushion to keep the Ally safe and small pockets to keep memory cards or small thin things like that. You can also use the case as a stand by using the flap that has the small pockets and sticking it to the velcro on the other side. It’s overall a decent case; only wish it had a handle or strap to carry the case.

I love it, it's rigid and slic design makes it very portable, I feel safe with my ROG Ally in it because even though it doesn't seem like it, it is sturdier then it looks, AND IT HAS A STAND BUILT IN?!?! The fact that it's impermeable makes me feel even safer when it's in my backpack and it's raining, and yea the writing around the center is a little too much, but in my opinionit's one of the best portable PC case I've ever had. I would give it 5 stars but the one think it lacks is a place for the charger, you just gotta find another way to take it around. But other then that, it's is fantastic!

I usually don't pre order things but as soon as I saw the ROG Ally I knew I had to get it. As with new tech, third party accessories like cases take a while to come into the market. I mainly take my Ally to work so I definitely need something to protect my almost $800 investment. The case is good and I'm sure it will keep my Ally safe in my backpack. It also has a built in stand. I took one star away because of the price. $40 is pretty steep for what you're getting. Also would have been nice to have some space for the 65W charger it comes with. Overall I would recommend.

It's a nice looking case and the only one available at the time. But it's nowhere as nice as switch cases, which is what I was sort of expecting since it's what I can compare it to. Not sure if steam deck cases are like this? It doesn't have any grooves to sit in or a strap to hold it in place. It also doesn't have much wpace to hold anything but the machine in it. It has 3 small pockets so maybe micro sds or something? Though I wouldn't put them in there. It doesn't feel very protective but it's soft inside and better than nothing. I would give it 2 stars but it does have a little sort of stand in it that'll prop the case open and let the machine rest against it upright. I don't watch videos on it so it's not really something I use, but it was a nice idea for those that might. (At first I thought it was to secure the machine but it's not. I tried haha.) I recommend only until other cases come out.

This is quite a nice case, it’ll protect the already very sturdy Ally, and it looks pretty good too. Fits perfectly in a backpack, and I think it’s also water resistant which is a nice touch. Worth the purchase, and protect your gear. Only thing is, I wish it had a carrying handle.

This case is definitely pleasing to the eye. My ally fits inside however it is a bit more snug fit than i would have liked. I also wished it had a harder shell to protect against bumps during transport in a backpack or luggage. Nonetheless its not a bad case at all. Probably $19.99 would have been a better price.

Neat Carrying case with a trick up it's sleeve

Let's start with the basics, it's well padded and tuf. The design and logos (on the front of case and ROG on the zipper cover, which adds extra water repellant) are nice. The Ally fits snuggly inside, which is soft and padded. There's two small pockets and a little larger one on the bottom of the case inside, on a textile covered cardboard, that's sewn to the bottom has a patch of Velcro in it, for holding SD cards or flash drives or even small USB drives. The card holder, with the Velcro, can attach to the top of the case, which can now be used as a stand. Also, the inside top of the case has 2 small dimples, for the sticks on the Ally, ensuring proper placement of the console and keeping the sticks from getting squished. See photos . Little details like that matter in the long run. I'm happy with it.

You can use this case as a stand! It's padded but not hard-case padded. If you're looking for a hard-case look elsewhere but it's perfectly fine case as it fits the device nice and tight. The quality is very good. They didn't spare any expensive. It's definitely NOT cheap looking. This is a premium case.

Its not a bad case but its not really a good one either. Aesthetic wise, it looks good and cool however, it doesn't really protect the device as much as I hoped it would. Its a bit tight with a silicone case installed on the ally and I feel like the analogs are getting smooshed. Would have been better with more space and if its a hard case

I really like the feel of this case, it offers good protection for your portable console of choice, I'm currently using it for my switch until my Ally pre order arrives in a few more days. I just wish the case had a strap or carrying handle to make it easy to grab when holding other things in your hands lile car keys or a phone. Other than that, it's a perfectly serviceable case.

This case is overpriced. Provides decent protection, but dont expect steam deck levels of security. Doesnt fit a charger or anything other than the Ally itself. Im the person who bought it, so cant blame anyone else, but there were no options at the time. If you’re reading this, hopefully there are more options out there.
