This is not a "protective" case. I got this case with the full knowledge that when I travel with it, my Ally would be placed in this case to guard against possible scratches, but then placed in a larger far more protective bag to guard against possible drops and the like. This case is about the branding (for me), not the protection.

Combined with the weight of the ROG Ally it does well for bringing my gaming with me, almost perfectly safely. It is a soft case, which I will count as it's only defect, because that possible to still easily damage the goods inside. It is better than nothing at all, as the ROG Ally does not come with one at all.
