The card is a little on the pricy side but upgrading from a 20 series card made a world of difference for me! ASUS's materials felt really robust in comparison to the other brands out there currently. The four fans also really make a noticable difference in the temps. Under 100% load I didn't see it break 55F when running at 1440p. The card is a pretty bulky unit so make sure to check dimensions for your case to make sure it fits! Performance was right where I was expecting. I'm not big on AI technology but if the gaming industry is heading in that direction with it's frame generation, it's a little peace of mind to know I'll be ready for what the future holds.

Was one of the lucky few who snagged one here at MSRP rather than an online scalper. Gives 230fps on forza 5 on max. 118fps on cyberpunk with extreme everything. 180fps with AC Valhalla on max. No man sky has a nasty big with DLAA and frame generation so CTD. Turn off frame gen in NMS, but leave DLSS, and its 200 all day on ultra. Doom is 215 on max as well. Helldivers 2 is 180fps on max. I think you get the idea. Its expensive, and heavy. Its also quite loud. That 4th fan does kick some rpms and they are quite audible. A solid set of gaming headphones make it moot anyway. I regret nothing, and would buy again.

This card makes my EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 card feel dated. Yesterday's flasgship is nothing compared to this 5080. There is simply no comparison in the performance. The old card playing BF6 on low settings would maintain 110-120 FPS. The new card on Ultra settings can do 130-150 FPS. The difference is night and day. It's worth the ASUS tax to get the Astral.

Does everything I need while staying cool! A bit pricey but givencthe performance and temps to go with it, I find it worth the investment

I was excited to install this new gpu into my computer and see a boost in performance, but all I got was a blank screen. Had to try a million fixes, but finally found out that my BIOS needed updating to run the DDR7 ram on the GPU, and once that was done everything worked well. Good GPU, excellent service from Best Buy in ordering and shipping it to the store for pickup. I tried so many ways of getting this GPU, but Best Buy was the only one to come through. Thanks!

Upgraded from a 3080ti to 5080. So far it works great and the upgrade helps with the new games!

Great GPU. You may have to buy more cords for your PSU hookup.

Fantastic card for a decent price considering the product. Only complaint would be 16GB of VRAM is cutting it close for any 4K enthusiasts trying to push their rig.

Best one out there if you can't afford a 5090 GPU.

Best 5080 on the market excellent performance and good temperature

Expensive for sure. However so far I’ve not had a single issue. I adjusted the MHz and clock speeds up slightly. It looks great in the build and I’m thankful the software allows you to see the power cable connection to prevent cable melting. EFT in 1440P I get 90-100FPS. Valorant 500+ BF6 200 ARC Raiders 120.
