I was first led to this mouse due to its dual wireless functionality - both bluetooth and 2.4ghz wireless. I wanted to replace my aging wired gaming mouse with something wireless. I also had recently purchased an ultraportable laptop with limited ports. Having bluetooth lets me avoid taking up a USB port while still having a mouse available. The 2.4ghz is fast and responsive for desktop gaming. The mouse also has a unique joystick where your thumb rests. It can act as an analog stick or a 4 position switch. Going from a G502, I thought I would really miss the thumb button, but have gotten used to the joystick. I use it in the 4 position mode so I gained 3 additional buttons for my thumb vs. the 502. It also has a unique little disk you can customize for the rear RGB lighting. I put my wife's cricut to use and was able to perfectly customize the mouse the way I wanted it. Overall, very happy with the mouse and it fits my needs perfectly.

This is a solid gaming mouse with certain issues that gives away the 5th star! So, the joystick is a novelty feature that doesn't find an actual world use. There's no hypershift (a second layer of button assignments) so you might want to use it as a 4 way button, still, with shorter thumbs, it's hard to reach and push around. The puck for custom coloring is totally a gimmick, don't even think about using a sharpy to make something useful. Maybe the 3d prints can help you out thou. Overall, the very precise sensitivity adjustment by holding dpi and scrolling the wheel, qi wireless charging, BT mode, pouch is cool stuff. But the reason I'm considering to return this mouse is the software, it's heavy, multiple apps to use the lights or customize the buttons-- the old armoury is taking forever to launch, and it's outdated and no longer supported. So, it's not easy to customize it, and without customization the joystick cannot be utilized at all, the lights are not that adjustable. Overall, Basilisk Ultimate with dock is the same price, if the product I've got was not faulty (yea, QA issues), I'd stick with that. Now, I'm just going to forget about the beatiful "headlights" of the Chakram and get back to my old (but gold) Basilisk X Hyperspeed.

It is really cool to be able to charge this mouse by putting it on the qi charger corner of my ASUS ROG Balteus Qi Wireless Charging pad. It is comfortable for large hands (I'm 6' 2") and surface has a good feel to it. Is really nicely made, with magnetic compartments. Also the Bluetooth switch on the bottom is cool because I was able to grab it and use it on my work laptop instantly. I was leaning towards a Logitech but read so many reviews of switches dying that this mouse with removable switches really sold me. Still haven't had a chance to set up the joystick button, but that will be fun too.

This is the best mouse I ever had. It comes with everything a gamer need. The price reflects the quality of the product you are receiving. Kudos to asus!!!

Overall fantastic mouse. Feels great to use and has one of the best looking RGB on a mouse I've seen. However, the quality control ruined it for me. I just got the mouse today, and when I opened the cover to get the wireless usb dongle out, I found multiple scratches on the underside of the mouse cover. The ROG logo that lights up underneath the cover also appears slightly blurry when the cover is on, which I'm not sure if it's intended or not. For being one of the most expensive mice out there, one would the highest of quality, but that's not what we get here.

A decent mouse with excellent grip. Superior built quality, no ghosting that u can expect from this price tho.

This thing is absolutely phenomenal! I love the ability to change out the switches and the joystick(although I haven’t really used the joystick so far). Connection is great, although a little less stable with Bluetooth than with the USB dongle. I think it depends on the computer though. When I use the Bluetooth with an ROG G701 laptop it’s perfectly fine, but I had some slight jitter and lag waking the mouse when using it with a Vivobook. The aesthetics are great. The look of the clear housing and RGB perfectly matched my home office setup. If I had to nitpick, I’d only change two things. First, I’d add a lean function to the scroll wheel for left/right scrolling. Second, I’d add a free wheel function for the scroll wheel.

This is a long game mouse: it can change out the clicking switches should the start double clicking from age and use. The comfort is great and is similar to the Logitech G502. The look on the other hand is more minimal and clean. Wirelessly is worked great, and charging wirelessly is easy: just put it on a qi charger every night. The joystick is bleh as a joystick, but fantastic as a 4 way button trigger; it just feels right. While the cost is high, you may never need to replace it due to it's hotswap system.

Love the feel and features of this mouse. The Joystick is unique but could be tougher to reach if you have smaller hands. The RGB is wonderful. Nice clear color. Qi capabilities add options for charging. DPI is ridiculously fast. I had a Corsair Dark Core SE Qi prior to this mouse. Wanted a Mouse that can be used with Bluetooth, USB Wireless or USB Wired and like the Dark Core this did it all too. The price is steep but once you get it then you get it. There are comparably priced mice but this has many options to make it my choice.

It’s really a top quality mouse. A good amount of extra buttons, the clicks are satisfying and they proved extra switches if you want something different. The rgb is the right amount and looks amazing on my desk. The joystick is satisfying to use as well.

First time owning a wireless mouse with wireless/Qi charging. So far it's been great. Not a complicated design and I can take the palm cover off to store the wireless dongle for portability. Or switch out the logo design for something custom. Comes with a pouch for portability, too. There's also a cable to switch to wired input with enabled charging. The mouse can last about two or three days before needing a recharge with average use, including Aura Sync lighting effects. The lights will flash red when the power is down to 25%. And it charges quickly with wireless. There also seems to be a smart charging effect so the mouse won't charge until about 75% down. There's also a thumb joystick/pad for gaming. The fast, accurate response, replaceable clickers, and DPI control can be used on the mouse or through software. Definitely a keeper.

Amazing mouse! Wired or wireless option 4 presets that you can customize dpi and button mapping and lighting for each presets very comfortable feel and looks super clean with the matching keyboard! I recommend this mouse to anyone!

Great mouse. High quality. Looks good. Charges wirelessly. Battery life could be better and asus software can be a little confusing to use but other than that a great mouse

A great mouse in my opinion. The ability to quickly swap between Bluetooth and the wireless USB dongle is convenient for me, because I have the dongle connected to my computer and my Chromebook uses bluetooth. I've used it for gaming for some time now, and it works great with that over the USB dongle. I haven't noticed any latency over Bluetooth or wireless USB, and the AURA SYNC RGB effects are splendid to look at. They give you a ton of customization options within the box, including different joysticks, different mouse switches, and even a customizable logo. Overall, I really love the Chakram.

This Mouse has it all, wireless qi charging, RGB, easy internal storage for accessories hanks to magnetic retention plates, user swappable mech switches, usb c, 15 minute 100% charge, and the little addition of a full blown control stick on the left thumb side. I can walk and aim, using only this mouse! I wouldn't be at all shocked to see this become a common feature on more gaming mice in the near future, ASUS ROG raised the bar with this one.

The Chakram gives you plenty of connection options, 2.4ghz ,bluetooth, wired so no matter what connection you prefer or own multiple computers you can use the mouse any way you prefer. It is a larger sized mouse, the side button "joystick" can be swapped for a dpad style button or a blank. It is heavier than my other rog mouse. so i don't use it for faced based twitch shooters ie Quake Champions. but it is great on everything else.
