Excellent response time and very comfortable controller!

Quick response on the games I play. Now I can go online and do serious competition.

This controller is on another level compared to just about everything else on the market. NO it wont get stick drift, yes it’s extremely fast with 1000hz polling rate and yes it is an absolute beast. I started my journey with aftermarket controllers a few years ago and had everything from a to z and all usually have a few pros and a few cons to speak of and almost all unless very very expensive end up still getting stick drift in the end (unintended movements of the joysticks due to hardware failure causing your courser, weapon, or whatever your controlling to randomly float across the screen without your input). The way ASUS does this is by using TMR joysticks. ITs a type that simply does not suffer from such issues, uses less power to increase battery life (can get up to 50 hours without RGB on) and has a higher accuracy in comparison to other higher end controllers out there that use Hall effect joysticks. This is the biggest deal to me and why im talking about this first. 1k hz makes for amazing response times and speed. Standard premium dual mode triggers allow switching between short travel micro switches and the long travel TMR sensor triggers. 2 high profile joystick caps are included in the packaging if you feel like you want more precise control over your sticks, I tend to only use the right side one. There is also micro switches in the D-pad and just makes for a very tactile experience without some majorly loud situation going on. 4 “Extra buttons” on the rear but no extras up top like some others though I prefer this as it was always an mis hit for me. The buttons feel really solid and feels crazy to press so it takes some getting used to at first as I was used to normal feeling buttons but these feel more like say a mouse click or something, just extremely premium. This has tri mode connectivity with the ability to use this wired, bluetooth, or with the included dongle/receiver (to give 1000hz polling rate). There is small switches on the back side you can swap back and forth to tell whatever device your using it with what kind of connection you want or XBOX mode itself. Also on the backside there is a store away area that you can put your wireless USBA receiver when not in use which then you also have a carrying case for everything as well. This can be used with any Ally system you have, PC, and of course XBOX. Side note on this I also can use this on my Mac and iPhone to play cloud gaming on as well though it is not an official compatibility it does work very well AND because it does not use PC only software and instead uses web based controls you can fire up chrome based browser and have access to the hardware and ability to do things like button mapping, RGB, polling rate etc which is then saved to the onboard memory and stays with the controller on any device you use it on after. In the way of controllers I highly highly suggest this one to anyone looking for something much better than any first party offering on the market right now and I think this thing takes the crown so far for anything on the market.

STAY AWAY!!! If you are using this on PC there is a good chance the wireless connection will disconnect and reconnect numerious times, definitely not reliable and definitely not worth the price.

The dongle constantly disconnects and the software is insanely annoying to navigate on the rog ally xbox x. You cant remap the M buttons to any key, button or action. It should be on the armoury crate app but it isnt. Controller feels cheap and the little charger stand it comes with the backplate isnt even glued together properly. Also theres this weird deadzone issue i havent been able to figure out how to fix so theres that as well. Altogether horrible controller but unfortunately its the only one ive found that works with desktop mode eith the rog ally xbox x

This product is advertised to go with the ROG ALLY X. With that being said, it would connect immediately but not allow you to control any games. Returned it and got a PS5 controller that worked within seconds.

Its a solid controller if youre buying and hoping xbox has a app to configure it like razer does youll be disappointed. You need a computer to map the back buttons.
