Setup was a little tricky because of my old router. Had to connect directly to my base computer and then everything started to work.

The app is also very nice to turn on certain features. I noticed a steadier ping while playing fps games

So happy I jumped ship from Netgear. I was so sick of having to pay for customer support and to make matters worst having to pay to have the abilitie to setup family mode. This modem is one of the best I've owned and I've owed a lot of different ones.
