I purchased this shortly after getting an RTX 2080ti and they are a match made in gaming heaven. Everything is so much prettier on this display. I previously gamed on an HDR 4K TV and I thought I knew what HDR was, but I was wrong. HDR on this ASUS is mindblowing. On top of that, GSYNC is new to me and I cant believe I went so long without it. Microstutter in games like AC Origins that I have come to live with is literally gone now. This is also the first time I'm seeing above 60FPS with my own eyes and I can definitely notice a huge difference in gameplay fluidity and responsiveness. It is awesome. If you have the means, absolutely buy it!

Bought this to compare to my LG 4K HDR 60fps monitor. Let’s just say there is in no way a 1400 dollar difference. Not even close. Anyone who says this monitor is worth the purchase is just Trying to justify the money they spent. Complete rip off. Had a friend come over to verify I wasn’t crazy and we both laughed and returned it! It’s worth 700.00 that’s it! You better have a god system to even get close to 4K 144hz with HDR on running new titles. Returned!!!

Games have never looked this good. It costs $2000, but you get what you pay for.

Upgraded to this from my Alienware AW2518H monitor after recently getting an RTX 2080 ti. It is costly but you'll quickly forget about that once you're playing on it. If you have a card that can handle it, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Dead pixel brand new out of the box. HDR is awful. It constantly turns itself off and will not turn back on unless you unplug and replug the video cable. The blacks on the HDR are also awful. New games that are dark or have lots of shadows look terrible. The blacks appear purple and pixelated. Fan is louder than anything else in the room (computer, laptop, other monitors, etc). The fan makes an audible whining sound that speeds up and slows down constantly. This is one of my most regretable purchases. I will never buy another Asus product after this heap of junk.
