This M16 is very small for a 16" laptop. I updated the memory to 24Gb and 3Tb, with "old" parts I had around. In summary, fantastic laptop for work, school, and games, can`t think of a better one for the price.

More cooling and quieter than the 2022 version. More fans, faster 240Hz qhd+ screen, g sync, lastest RTX 4000 series, 13 gen intel and dual ram slots most importantly However, the addition of advanced Optimus with mux complicated things. Thanks to the advanced Optimus's addition, games and applications that worked perfectly on the 2022 version with just a mux and Optimus, hardly ran on the 2023 version with advanced Optimus. Such games like geometry dash, metal gear rising, Minecraft terraria, and many other non taxing games like that. If it just had a mux and Optimus, it would be perfect or if the 2022 had 2 memory slots and a 240hz screen. TLDR: Laptop is better than 2022 with cooling, faster screen, and 2 memory slots. But advanced Optimus holds it back in game and application performance compared to 2022 version with mux and optimus.

It gets the job done from office works to gaming. Great audio, minimal noise, and surprised it comes with face detection feature! More power ASUS and thanks BestBuy!

I believed 16" is the best match for laptops these days. Just the windows 11 is kinda new, so it's kind of goofy but you can always change it to windows 10 if you want.

However, this has come with significant issues that it shouldn't be bundled with: 1. The wireless adapter died a few months in, and I had to replace it with a BE200 WiFi adapter. 2. The touchpad occasionally behaves erratically. And by erratically, imagine the touchpad only works for half a second when you touch it before it stops registering anything else. So, I would have to keep swiping the touchpad to get anywhere. This lasts for a couple of seconds fairly often. I am not sure what is causing the issue. 3. Depending on what RGB mode you have set on the keyboard, the keyboard will freeze up occasionally. I had to fix this by only using the static RGB setting, which never causes this issue. 4. When you shut down or restart, it would take an absurdly long time and eventually a blue screen. This was resolved by downgrading my GPU drivers. 5. The brightness slider sometimes doesn't work sometimes when plugged in. I am not sure how I fixed this, but it might've been the GPU driver downgrade. 6. The laptop wouldn't power on without the AC adapter plugged in. This seems to be resolved by the GPU driver downgrade as well. 7. Battery is horrendous out of the box; I'm talking about 2 hours max. As a result, it's necessary to install G-Helper and get rid of the bloatware.
