    I recently purchased an open box in Excellent Condition and it arrived with screws loose in the box and was damaged due to the poor packing job, sucks to see a good monitor that was likely fine before shipping get damaged. I'll be returning it and ordering a new one no biggie, I am yet to use the product.

    I received this monitor about a month ago and loved it until I noticed there is a dead pixel on it. A little disappointed it decided to show up after the return day expired but I guess that's what I get for buying an open box.

    Overall, not a bad monitor for gaming. Enjoyed it for a year and 3 months before it gave out after moderate use. Good monitor if you’re looking to upgrade again soon and/or don’t plan to use it much.

    Dead pixels covered most of the screen and it was just over a month of use. Now ill have to find out how good the 3 year warranty really is.

    second monitor not detecting.

    It was running well but suddenly it stop detecting my second monitor. I tried with my other laptop, my second monitor and hdmi all working fine. I don't know what to do.

    This is a great monitor. It is a nice large screen and the picture is sharp and clear. One thing that stood out to me almost immediately after opening the box, was how nice the stand is. My company paid for very nice monitor stands for my office, but I think that the stand that’s included with the monitor out of the box is nicer. It easily flips to a vertical position, moves up and down far more than most stands, has a wide turning range to be able to angle the monitor in about any angle you could imagine. The movement is also very smooth and easy to position without losing its strength to stay put once you have it where you want. It has a few different connections in the back for your computer, but what I really liked is that it comes with an HDMI cable. Most of the monitors I’ve bought in the past came with the lowest cheapest cable that could possibly connect to the monitor. Its nice to have a useful connection in the box. I thought that the speakers would be nice to have so I don’t need to use other speakers, but honestly the output on them is pretty pathetic. The sound is clear and crisp, but just not very loud even with everything maxed. I was a bit surprised that the monitor didn’t have a digital audio out port. Given that it comes with an HDMI cable, but the speakers aren’t that great, I would have expected this. That may be unrealistic expectations based on comparisons to TVs which normally are my go to option for a “monitor” that also has speakers. Because this is a gaming monitor, I expect that the target audience either has a nicer speaker system or nice headset that they are using for their sound most of the time anyway, so they can get a full surround sound effect. That makes the speakers a nice backup option but not the point of the monitor so I didn’t dock any stars for the low powered speaker. However, if you are planning on having these be your main speakers for your setup and therefore help justify the higher cost of this monitor, you may want to go into a store and test the sound quality first to see if you’re really happy with it. The screen also comes with a blue light filter option. I played around with it a bit, but didn’t love it. I never loved similar options on smartphones so its probably just my preferences there. If this kind of option is a big deal for you then you know this monitor has it. I just mention it because I haven’t seen that before on a monitor and may be an important factor for someone out there. This is a more expensive monitor, so it may not be the best choice for someone that just does spreadsheets all day, but this is a fantastic monitor for anyone wanting to play games or something else that has a lot of videos, movement, etc. where a quality monitor really matters.

    Good monitor but had a pixel go out after like 6 weeks and the customer service desk said they couldnt do anything since I didn't get the protection

    Bought a similar acer monitor a while back (1080p, IPS, 144hz, 24inch) That monitor was alright. It cost me $200 with tax, so not bad all things considered. However, when my 2nd monitor died, I decided to replace it and my 3rd monitor with high quality monitors than the office stock dell monitors I had. Something with clean lines, minimal bezel (being a triple monitor setup, the closer the better really) and, if possible 144hz refresh rate. I didn't think I'd get the latter. When I saw this monitor on the shelf for the same price as a similar monitor that was 75hz ($170) I decided to go for it. I hooked them up that night and loved them. Sure, my acer monitor had HDR too, but the Asus monitors were just a higher quality product. The menus are much nicer, the options are much more plentiful (and easier to understand with the menu) than acer. Plus, it had a fully adjustable stand, which the acer did not. Sure, side by side, they are pretty much the same, but the Asus product just feels like a better product. For a similar price, I got a what I think is a better product. I was lucky too, as the next day they went back to $250. Still, I think the slight increase in price over the "budget" options, like my acer, is worth it. I feel like, despite getting what is still an entry level product, the Asus monitor feels less like cheap option. I went out the next day to buy a third. I love this monitor, and I love Asus' products. They've continuously stood out as better than the alternatives, from my Monitors, to my asus router (swapped from netgear, was not a fan of the setup of the web UI), to my motherboard (from an MSI), to my laptop. Keep it up, Asus.

    DIDNT LAST 6 MONTHS

    I have had it for 6 months and it is now unusable. It was working fine for the past six months and randomly today, the buttons are faulty and menus weren’t appearing, the hdmi port wasn’t reading the cord, and the monitor was going into sleep mode a few moments after powering on. Waste of $200+, customer service makes it impossible to get help, and will likely never buy from ASUS or Best Buy again.

    We are not happy. We gave the monitor to our grandson for Xmas & it didn’t work, so we have to return it. We had it delivered, so I hope delivery had nothing to do with not working.

    Four months and it's already messed up.

    After 4 months, it randomly get a thick bar of distorted pixels at the top of the screen and blue dots down the side. screen will turn to green when clicking on certain things. There's burn in for any bright images. I spent $270 on a new monitor and it's already messed up. This monitor has not been overworked or bumped into or got wet or anything.
