Customers have good things to say about the picture quality, refresh rate, and price of the TUF 23.8” IPS FHD 144Hz monitor. Many appreciate the adjustable stand and vibrant colors, along with the monitor's ease of use and performance in gaming. However, some users note that the speakers could be improved, and there have been some reports of issues with dead pixels and the lack of an included HDMI cable. A few users also mentioned minor concerns about ghosting.

TOP 5 MONITORS EVER

A year after purchasing this, and it's one if the most solid monitor I've ever owned. Not only is the picture quality amazing, its such a versatile monitor as far as how you want to orient your screen. Raising higher or lower, rotated UP/DOWN or normal left/right, swiveled to the side.....it has every possible position to accommodate your preferences. Speakers arent bad, and my display port has had no issues. Matte screen is always a plus and the IPS display is a must have.

Best value ips 144hz

The monitor is one of the best value for the money 144hz IPS displays out there. Great viewing angles, and no noticeable ghosting. The build quality is robust and the stand adjustments feels premium.
The colors are accurate, but a little bit washed out for an IPS. it also has a little bit of a yellowish tint, but nothing that cant be adjusted.
The speakers are whatever, but I dont think anyone should use this as their main speakers anyway. The only thing that would have made this better would be an AUX out, rather than the AUX in port it has on the back.
But for the price, this is easily worth every penny.

Excellent 144hz monitor - slightly pricy

Fantastic 144hz 1080p monitor. It is slightly pricier than other models from Acer, but the IPS panel looks great and everything works well.
The stand is nice and offers rotation on 3 axes, and the color is quite good out of the box as well. My unit had some backlight bleed on the top right corner, but it isn't too bad and I don't really notice it unless the screen is dark.
The ELMB setting for me looked awful, so I just kept it off. Shadow boost will wash out darker scenes that are intended to be darker, so I also left it off.
Overall, an excellent monitor, although there comparable offerings at lower prices if you can find them in stock.

First, I just wanted to say that this monitor is also gsync compatible.
Now that that's out of the way, I'm going to talk about ease of setup. The monitor is very well protected in it's box. It can be a bit difficult taking the styrofoam casing out of the box but that was the most difficult part of setup. The monitor easily connects to the base using a slide in tab on one end and a butterfly screw on the other end. Connecting the base to the monitor took less than one minute. In order to connect the cables, just turn the monitor into portrait orientation and you can easily connect the cables. Setup shouldn't take more than 5 minutes after you get it out of the box.
Next I'll talk about performance and use. Making adjustments to the positioning of the monitor is super simple. Movements are super smooth but secure. You don't have to worry about the screen moving unless you intentionally move it. And I love the base. The picture looks great and has several different picture settings. No lagging at all. All the motions are super smooth. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to less than 144 HZ. This monitor also has a blue light filter.
The only con I would have for this monitor is that you have to go through several menus to adjust the volume. So I just set the volume on to max and then adjust the volume through windows using the volume keys on my keyboard.

Perfect for Vertical Use

So I got this monitor for the vertical purpose and it has not disappointed me. Given that I'm new to a desktop setup, it was a lot easier to navigate setting up than other monitors, and it's the perfect size.
Someone said the stand is bulky, I personally don't find it that bad or that bulky. I mean if it were then, i'm sure it'd be unsteady. So the stand is the perfect size to keep it stable and not have issues in the future.

got this as a companion to my first ever gaming pc, and ohh boy do i love this monitor. it’s relatively large but easily maneuverable and easy to adjust — whether i’m focused on different things or sitting in different ways i can adjust the screen to be at specific angles. the colors are beautiful, the audio is alright (i have found issues with my earbuds) and it’s easily one of the better monitors you can get in this price range

First off, the color accuracy isn't anything to write home about, and a lot of its bonus settings are pretty gimmicky. They either don't really making much of a difference, or if they do, it either hurts picture quality, brightness, or can't run at the same time as its other features.
One example of this is that ELMB dims your screen significantly and can't run with freesync. In that sense, the comparison photos are even less accurate than these types of pictures usually are; in reality, your screen is drastically dimmed.
Otherwise, it works great at 144 Hz, and the adjustable stand is very convenient as well. Just make sure you change your refresh rate on your computer since the default is 60 Hz.

I don't write many reviews, but this monitor deserves a proper review & my praises! I tried 4 other monitors & returned them all before going out on a limb & trying this one (it didn't have any reviews at the time). I am so glad that I did! I'm very satisfied with the visuals, features, options, performance, etc. It's exactly what I searched months for - a good monitor with an IPS panel, 1 ms response time & 144Hz refresh rate, all for a reasonable price around $250.
For a reference point, I use it with my CyberPower PC Model: SLC7000BST (incl. GeForce RTX 2070 Super GPU & AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU). I checked to make sure there weren't any dead pixels, then I tested it by playing Doom (2016), World War Z, The Sims 4, The Outer Worlds & various other games (all set to the highest quality graphics), watched movies, videos, etc. This monitor handled everything seamlessly & beautifully!
Pros:
*IPS Panel with beautiful & vibrant colors! There's plenty of options & adjustments for personal optimizations, but I keep it simple & usually use the FPS or Scenery Preset (other Presets are Racing, Cinema, RTS/RPG, sRGB & MOBA).
*144Hz Refresh Rate
*1ms MPRT response time
*FreeSync (AMD Adaptive Sync)
*DisplayPort (v1.2) - Required to utilize 144Hz & for G-Sync Compatibility (as of this review, it's not approved by Nvidia yet, but it can still be selected to use anyways in Nvidia Control Panel)
*HDMI Port (v1.4)
*Clear Fonts & Images. This should be a no brainer for today's technology. But I found out the hard way that the type of pixels used for VA Panels (ex: MSI) are too fuzzy & blurry for many people, including myself. I researched & adjusted every possible setting, changed cables, checked for driver updates & exchanged for a size up. But nothing made reading text on it tolerable for me, it still strained my eyes & gave me headaches. However, I hooked up this IPS Monitor & it's crystal clear straight out of the box & without any adjustments, as it should be! So if you're on the fence between a VA panel & an IPS panel, I highly recommend IPS.
*Black micro-thin bezel
*On/Off & Menu Buttons under monitor for easier access than the joystick kind imo
*2 Customizable Shortcut Keys for quick access to your favorite settings
*Swivel, Tilt & Height Adjustable Stand + VESA Wall Mount Compatibility
*Low Blue Light (4 levels), Flicker Free & ASUS Shadow Boost Technologies
*Options to use a Timer, FPS Counter, Crosshairs, Turn Monitor Light Off/On, etc.
Semi-Con:
*When the ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Technology is selected, it makes things too dim & you can't use it simultaneously with FreeSync/Adaptive Sync. Therefore it's a wasted & irrelevant feature for me bc I prefer FreeSync/Adaptive Sync. But it's not worth a star deduction bc some people may like this feature.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful!

I have this monitor paired up with the Asus Zephyrus G14 and it’s been great. It runs the full 144hz with adaptive sync as advertised and so far I haven’t had any issues with it. Great entry level IPS 144hz Freesync monitor for 1080p gaming.
The only issue I have with it is navigating the monitor settings using the buttons at the bottom. It takes a while getting used to and I wish it had visible letters indicating what the buttons are for instead of having to “guess”. Other than that, great value!
