Good monitor but not worth the time

However, just 3 months after getting the monitor a red line appeared on the right side of the panel. Mind you, I hadn't even moved the monitor since I purchased it and always turned it off after using it. I sent it to ASUS support and they said it's unrepairable and are sending a replacement. 3 weeks later no monitor, this my first and last ASUS purchase.
