I got this on sale for $999. So impressed. I was really nervous about buying a gaming laptop cause i was always under the impression that they just over heated and throttled. But this thing just blazes theough my games. I use it for Battlefield 2042 on high settings with no hiccups. I recommend adding a 1tb ssd to the extra drive slot for installing all of your games. I have absolutely zero criticisms for this laptop.

Its a powerful gaming laptop with a bit of room for expansion. Not heavy but still powerful.

Honestly after a year of ownership this laptop has been a beast! I have been gaming and video editing with this thing and it has been perfect. The only downside is that it is a laptop, so they do run warmer than a tower would. I just make sure to have extra cooling and plenty of airflow! Love this thing!

Rather it's for work, gaming, or straight up content creating on the go, this laptop is definitely the perfect companion to get things done. You're literally working with an i7 that's newly improved from the last model, a Nvidia 3070 graphics card that can support your editing/gaming needs, and 16 GB worth of RAM. Now for me personally I added 64 GB but for someone casual, this computer is the way to go.

This is one super fast beast of a rig, and games look great when connected to a 4k tv. But, could only get 2 hours play time when on battery only, and that is in eco mode, no wifi and screen brightness set to 15% while playing solitaire. I thought it said tuf build but the screen is very flimsy, you move it and the back light show really bad. Runs hot, like hot to the touch and thats with the fans running full blast, and them fans make A LOT of noise. This could almost be a desktop replacement with its specs, but the noise kills that. And the short batter life kills the laptop part.

The ASUS TUF Dash gaming laptop is no powerhouse, but it gets the job done. With a crisp 144Hz display and decent specs, it handles most games without breaking a sweat. While not the pinnacle of gaming laptops, it's a reliable choice for those who want to game without emptying their wallets.

Bought this on sale for around $1000. For what i paid i think it is a great value. I do think the screen could be brighter and for being called a TUF laptop it does feel pretty flimsy. But it is also really light so those are some trade offs. It is a lower watt 3070 GPU so keep that in mind when it comes to performance. I have mainly played World of Warcraft and Satisfactory. Im pleased with the performance but this isnt my primary computer.

This is a solid laptop! I brought it to work from home and it does the job, I recently ran xbox game pass on it and unfortunately the battery life really drops like a stone. I would say from full it died within 30 minutes of playing a game which sucks but the games on the screen look beautiful. Also the track pad is horrible, get an external mouse instead,

At the sale price, you get a 3700 gaming laptop and a great intel processor. What else can a budget minded gamer want? Do yourself a favor and buy it now! I got the open box “excellent” version of this laptop. I guess I got lucky, it looked brand new, like it hadn’t ever been used. Not a single marking or scratch!

So this laptop is pretty powerful, but I can’t recommend it. The backlight bleeds so part of the screen has light shining through it when you’re on a black screen. Battery only lasts and hour and my biggest problem is that when you’re downloading ANYTHING the computer ceases to run. I didn’t realize GPU prices went down and I wish I just built my own.

This laptop is at steal at $1000 price point. I have almost 1.5tb on one of it's drives and it runs them all easily. I have installed 2) 2tb m2 drives and the ram is going to 32 over the 16 very soon. This is a really great gaming laptop.

Overall great pc for the performance to price. Great keyboard and snappy touch pad. Not a 16:10 ratio screen but adequate for a portable mid tier gaming rig. The 3070 is good not the greatest on the laptop but paired with the 12th gen i7 makes it a solid performer.

Screen and Battery could have been better, other than that it works perfectly

At first I was concerned by the relative dearth of USB ports on this laptop. Everything else was stupendous. Great build quality. However I added a USB C Hub to the thunderbolt port and have more than enough USB ports. If I need more I can add a second hub to the USB-C port. At first I was having issues with my second external monitor (connected to the Hub which was in turn connected to the Thundebolt port. The monitor would blink, randomly disconnect, and generally not play nice. After downloading all of the OS and driver updates and performing a reboot, the monitor was rock-solid. I am currently driving the laptop monitor and 2 1080P external monitors, one from the built in HDMI port and the second from the USB-C/Thunderbolt hub (using an HDMI to VGA cable at that!) All of my games are capable of running on this machine at full HD with Max settings at 60FPS on the external monitor and 144 FPS on the built in display. I will be hooking this up to my 4K TV this evening to test it's capabilities there. Outstanding purchase, great price.
