I don't pay attention to the finer details on monitor performance for gaming, so can't speak to that, but we are satisfied for both applications. The heavy stand is also really nice with a younger child who is... not super careful. Glad we spent the money on one monitor that can handle both jobs.

Colors were more yellow and could not calibrate with other monitor (a prior version of the same monitor with lower FPS). Ultimately returned to get another one of the one he already had, as could not try another one of this version as was sold out.
