Really good laptop with new Intel processor.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is solid and well constructive, it is possible to open the lid with one hand. The usage of the device is really good, I don't see any freeze on daily tasks. I use it to connect to my VM and surf on internet without issues (Social networks, videos, music). I think the ports on this device are good, 1 HDMI, 2 USB C, 1 USB A and a headphone jack. Battery life it is good, I don't use it on battery more than 4 hours without problem, most of the time is connected to a docking station. Display is OLED 60 hz refresh, it looks great, the form factor is 16:10 and I added a magnetic privacy screen than help to keep your work out of other eyes. Keyboard and mouse pad are really comfortable to use, the only bad thing is the full keyboard plate going down when you are typing, maybe something to improve on next model or revision of this laptop. Software made by Asus, the laptop came with the utility My Asus, this suite gives you some configurations to protect your device, like drives and firmware updates, some helpful settings to keep your battery on good shape, like only charging up to 80% and also the possibility to override this setting and charge to full load for a special occasion. Also, it has the possibility to make some changes to protect the oled display and prevent to burn pixels, like refresh pixel, dark mode on the background windows and only keep brilliant the current window, auto hide the taskbar. 2 things than I'm missing from my Dell laptop is the possibility to auto turn on when you plug in to the docking station or the option to turn on when you open the lid. I already check My Asus app and BIOS settings without find it. I wish than ASUS or other vendor creates cover like the one for Apple laptops to prevent your device and keep your fingerprints out of the cover (Yes, the color is really nice but it is easy to catch fingerprints on it). I will check the IA settings on this new processor but as I read on reviews it is still behind from Apple Silicon chips but it is a really good start.

Great travel laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Zenbook mostly for travel. Fantastic size and weight, power brick is small. Screen is crisp and bright. Trackpad is as good as a Windows machine's going to get, a shadow of Mac trackpad usability. The overall performance is good but not quite the leap I expected compared to my 8-year old Core I7 machine. Mostly meets my expectations, especially for travel. Photos show size comparison of laptop and charger with Dell XPS 14 (9550), my previous travel laptop.

COMPACT AND POWERFUL
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my business I need a reliable compact PC with good power to handle different task. The ASUS Q425 does not disappoint. The initial setup was easily performed and taking it on jobs with me is much nicer than my bigger PC. The initial setup was as easy as plugging it in for about 30 mins to let the battery charge a bit. Then upon turning it on it booted up really quickly and I was able to go through the process really quickly. I think it was one of the easiest processes of setting up a PC that I’ve ever had. This thing even downloaded programs very quickly. I do a lot of maintenance work and it requires me to process a lot of pictures and work orders. I also review lots of videos and make videos for my clients to show the work performed and I’ve yet to have one glitch. One of the programs I use wouldn’t run smoothly on my other PC and this one runs it with ease. When using the ASUS Q425 for watching videos I’m really impressed. The colors are vibrant and the speaker quality is top notch. I’ve also noticed when I don’t have high quality internet this ASUS still performs really well. On my off time I enjoy playing simulator games and the quality of the graphics are very good and the movement of the simulator is crisp. On my previous laptop I’ve had entire work orders go blank while using it and have lost valuable data. With this one I have yet to lose data or performance. While using the Q425 to edit videos I realized that this unit makes it light work of editing. The program I use, I have used for years and I can definitely tell a difference when using the Q425. It takes a fraction of the time to process data and turn frames spliced together into a well-made final product. All in all, I’ll say for the compact size this PC is very powerful and a treat to travel and work with. I take this thing with me everywhere now. It has quicky become my go to laptop for work and pleasure. I have had numerous laptops, but this one is one of the best and it’s impressive how this little thing performs. If you’re looking for a great compact PC that does many things well, then the ASUS Q425 is for you.

A Stunning Balance of Power and Portability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the ASUS Zenbook 14 (Intel Core Ultra 7, Intel Evo Edition) for six months now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it blends performance, design, and functionality. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Display (10/10) The 14” FHD+ OLED touchscreen is the real star here. Colors are incredibly vivid, blacks are deep, and everything looks sharp and immersive. The 16:10 aspect ratio gives more vertical space, which is great for productivity. Whether I’m editing documents, coding, or streaming videos—this display is a joy to use. Performance (9.5/10) Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 and built on the Intel Evo platform, the laptop boots quickly, runs cool, and handles multitasking with ease. I’ve run engineering simulations, handled large spreadsheets, and even done light media editing without any lag. The 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD ensure smooth performance and fast access to files. Design & Build (9/10) The Jasper Gray finish gives it a sleek, professional look. It’s thin, lightweight, and easy to carry around—perfect for school, work, or travel. The build feels premium, and the hinge design is solid. The backlit keyboard and large trackpad are very responsive and comfortable for long work sessions. Battery Life (8.5/10) Battery life is solid. I typically get around 8–10 hours of use on a full charge with mixed usage (browser tabs, Excel, Zoom, and YouTube). It charges quickly via USB-C, which is convenient. Audio & Features (8/10) The speakers are clear and loud enough for meetings and casual streaming. The touchscreen is responsive and supports stylus input. The fingerprint sensor and AI webcam features are a nice bonus for security and video calls.

Powerful PC in a just-right size
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Asus Zenbook 14x roughly 3 weeks ago now, and so far I've really enjoyed it. Here are some things that I'm happy with: 1) Performance: It's 99% as fast as my previous Dell XPS 15 9530 with the same processor and RAM. The Dell has a slightly better cooling system w/two fans, so I believe that allows to eke out a tad bit better CPU performance. It's not a noticeable difference by any means, but if you're going strictly by the benchmarks. But, of course, the Dell has much larger body to accommodate a two-fan cooling system. 2) Screen: There's a lot of praise for Asus' OLED screens, and it's completely justifiable. They're bright, color-saturated and plenty vivid. Everything looks crisp on these OLED screens, even scanned copies of old newspapers. The high refresh rate is nice to have, but I honestly have it turned off in favor of longer battery life. HDR videos truly pop once their displayed in full-screen. Fingerprint magnet-yes. Worth it-absolutely. 3)Size: I always felt that 15 inch laptops were too big, bulky and sometimes heavy for my everyday use. But 13-inchers were always too small. So finding a powerful laptop in the 14" range was great. This one is actually 14.5", due to it's taller screen shape. 4) Build quality is top-notch. I hate laptops whose keyboard tray moves up and down when pressed. I can thankfully say that this Zenbook laptop is very structurally solid with little to no bend or flex. I love that! 5) Touchpad is great. 100x better than on my Dell, which struggled with palm detection mightily. After you've had a bad touchpad experience, a good touchpad is worth its weight in gold. 6) USB-A is still present! Yes, I love having dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, but keep around a good ol' USB-A port for the legacy devices is just plain smart. There are a few areas of improvement I'd make: 1) No SD card slot. I don't use them very often, but I do use them for bulk item backups (pictures and music). 2) Inconvenient power button sometimes gets hit when I'm reaching for the 'delete' button. I prefer if the power button is on the side or somewhere away from the keyboard. 3) Lots of Asus bloatware is included. Everything from screen tools and calibration apps to an app for connecting your phone (which is totally redundant given Microsoft's included My Phone app). It's just a lot...and most of it auto-starts when you boot the PC. Not cool. Overall, I give the laptop high marks for being a powerful computer in a just-right size. The OLED screen really completes the package! If you're in the market for a do-everything laptop with few compromises, check this one out.

M1-series Air competitor with a better screen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had still been using an old Zenbook UX21A that was getting noticeably old but waiting for something comparable to the M1 chips from Apple to replace it (not a fan of Apple software). When this was released it seemed like exactly what I had been looking for, greatly improved screen, massive battery life improvement, and significantly better performance for less than originally paid for the UX21A. The OLED screen on this is really phenomenal, I would have liked the slightly higher resolution screen of the UX3405MA but this version is significantly cheaper and has slightly better battery life because of the lower resolution screen. If I was using this as my main machine I would probably still have gone for the higher resolution screen but for me this is mostly for travel so it wouldn't really make sense. Overall I've been absolutely thrilled with laptop and it's completely eliminated any temptation to go for a Macbook Air.

Perfect for everything I need
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this laptop for all my college and personal needs for a few months now and have had no issues whatsoever. The OLED screen is beautiful and the performance is perfect to keep up with anything you can throw at it. It can handle some games at low settings but don't expect much out of the Intel Arc graphics. Battery life is also excellent, however, I have seen better battery life from other devices and I wish this aspect was a little better. Build quality is excellent with no very minimal flex in any of the device.
