The most important thing to glean from the reviews of the A14 is that you should set your expectations properly. This is an incredible "personal computer". Depending on what you do for work this is also could be a perfect "work computer". This is not a desktop replacement, this is not something for intense workloads, and probably barely passable to do any intense or professional coding if you sacrifice battery life.
This is the laptop you grab when you sit down with your morning coffee. This is the laptop you grab when you remember to pay that bill. This is the laptop you take to class to take notes and doom scroll your favorite sites. This is the laptop you grab on the way out to an offsite meeting. I would venture to say for all of those use cases you're NOT reaching for the charger. Did I mention thing this regularly goes on sale for $599? I didn't even mention the epic screen.
This laptops really shines after you've been using it a few weeks. The battery life is so good and I rarely have "charge anxiety" when using it. I was purposely using it until 6-8% battery left during my return period to find that "see this thing sucks" point but it never came. I can go over an hour only losing a 1-2% once its in the most energy efficient mode and when I using it for "personal computing" I'm not frustrated with performance in said energy efficient modes.
I will mention that in my experience before I bought this that the ARM thing was annoying and maybe even daunting but we're well into the Windows+ARM era and the software compatibility is caught or catching up. I had to go to the canary version of Discord for ARM support but that's about it. I'm sure the main version will have it soon. If something you need isn't supported on natively on ARM then most likely this isn't the laptop you need in the first place.
If I had to gripe about anything it would be the apparent issue with the paint on this new fancy ceraluminum stuff and this terrible copilot+ key they've remove my right ctrl key for. I had to use powertoys to make right atl into right ctrl. Pretty much all the windows laptops have them now sadly. I've seen some other reports out of there of "smudge" or issues with the paint around the edge of the device. It definitely looks like a place that the paint didn't cover fully. There are a few on my machine that are small (less than 1/2") and not in a place I would ever look at unless it was on purpose. No amount of scrubbing or cleaning will remove them. It could be that it was a bad batch or something, otherwise the beige has really grown on me and the ceraluminium has excellent fingerprint resistance and feel. Did I even mention how light this thing is?
Final note!
I was a little miffed this went on sale for $200 cheaper than what I bought if for 1 day after my 15 days passed. I reached out to BB customer service and they said next time buy the Total Membership thing to get more time. I had to laugh at the notion of paying more next time just in case this costs less in the future. Anyways, that's not A14 thing but I would definitely look at this thing really hard when its down to $599. There's probably not a better deal out there.

Verdict: An absolute steal at $550.
The Best Parts: This laptop is feather-light and incredibly thin, but still feels like a premium, solid machine. The OLED screen is beautiful with perfect blacks, and the battery life is legendary—it easily handles a full day (and then some) without a charger.
The Trade-off: The Snapdragon chip is the main drawback. While it's fast for daily tasks, it has app compatibility issues. Some specialized software or games won't run natively or at all.
Bottom Line: For $550, you’re getting high-end hardware for a budget price. If you mostly use a web browser and office apps, it’s perfect. If you need specific professional software or gaming, double-check compatibility first.

This laptop has so many things going for it. It’s thin and light with a high quality OLED display and outstanding battery life. The snapdragon processor is super efficient, but runs on Windows ARM, which is still maturing. Some applications/games run poorly and crash, or won’t open at all. So look into Windows ARM before purchasing. Besides that, it is a fantastic product and highly recommended when on sale for $600-$700.

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is an absolute game-changer! The 14" FHD+ OLED display is stunning—colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything looks crisp whether I’m streaming movies or working on projects. The Snapdragon X Plus processor with Copilot+ makes multitasking smooth and responsive, and paired with 16GB of RAM, it handles heavy workloads without breaking a sweat.
Storage is more than enough with the 512GB SSD, which keeps everything lightning-fast from boot-up to loading apps. I also love how lightweight and portable it is—the Zabriskie Beige finish gives it a premium, stylish look that stands out from the usual gray laptops. Battery life has been excellent, lasting me through long days without constantly hunting for an outlet.
Overall, the Zenbook A14 is sleek, powerful, and reliable—perfect for both productivity and entertainment. Highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for performance and elegance in one package!

I’ve had the Asus Zenbook A14 for a few weeks now and I’m blown away. It’s super light—feels like nothing in my bag—and the OLED screen is gorgeous for movies and work. The battery easily lasts me through two full days of use, which is insane. Performance is smooth for everyday tasks, though it’s not a gaming machine. Easily the best laptop I’ve owned for travel and productivity.

I have to say that I really love this ASUS Zenbook A14 14" FHD+ OLED Laptop - Copilot+ PC - Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus - 16GB RAM - 512GB SSD in Zabriskie Beige. Beginning with the appearance, the laptop is a beautiful soft matte finish in beige or putty color with very clean and simple design. Most impressive is how light and solid it feels in the hands. It’s the perfect laptop for sitting on the couch or lying in bed. The bottom consists of two small speaker vents and a large vented screen for cooling. It has a good sound but don’t expect to hear much bass. The cooling vent appears to work well as the laptop runs cool to the touch. The screen is vibrant and sharp with good viewing at all angles despite a gloss finish. The keyboard is comfortable, and the touchpad has a silky paper-like feel that works just as well.
The laptop powers up in about 20 seconds and installation out of the stylish box was a breeze. I chose to load this laptop as a completely new system, so I didn’t have to bring across settings, etc. from another computer. The laptop feels snappy and responsive in use. The Snapdragon X Plus cpu makes processing with apps like CoPilot and Paint work smoothly and without hesitation. Cocreator in Paint works quite well, and I was able to quickly generate some artwork featuring a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel chasing butterflies for example. This makes this laptop a graphic powerhouse for casual graphics design. ASUS offers some interesting software like StoryCube for generating a life’s collection of memories using AI. I hope to delve into StoryCube once I get my own media organized and added to the laptop through an external drive. Battery life is incredible…after watching Youtube video for hours, battery life still shows 19 hours remaining.
I’ll wrap up by saying I find this ASUS laptop perfect for everyday use when I’m not on my desktop. The 14-inch screen helps to keep the laptop light and portable and the performance makes it a joy to use.

Love this laptop so much! I had recently damaged the keyboard on my previous one (Surface Laptop 7th Edition), and I am very thankful to have purchased this one afterwards - it can do everything that my prior one could do (or, at least, what I needed it to do), is extremely lightweight, and has looooooooooooong battery life!

After extensive research, I selected the ASUS ZenBook A14 to replace my three-year-old HP Envy, which has been running hot. I use my computer primarily for research and writing. A long battery life was one of the needs. I also like a lightweight computer that is both durable and reliable. It has a great picture, and the sound is notably better than my older computer. I am very pleased with my computer at a price point of $799.

I love this ultraportable laptop. I plan on traveling quite a bit the upcoming year and I was looking for something lightweight. Weighing in at less than 2.5 lbs, the Asus Zenbook comes stacked with a beautiful screen and a premium build. Battery life thus far has been excellent. The speakers sound great and the performance is zippy and perfectly adequate for my needs. The Asus Zenbook is a premium option.

Although I returned this product to purchase a gaming PC and a chromebook as cheaper alternative, this was by far my favorite laptop I've owned and I consistently return to the thought of repurchasing it. It is VERY slick, with great battery life and high performance. The keyboard and lightweight feel to this laptop is fantastic. STRONG recommend.

This machine is fantastic. It runs smoothly, the battery basically lasts forever - its almost set it and forget battery life makes it the perfect machine to write on the go.
I got it open box, so I paid around $450 for a basically brand-new machine. It did have some cosmetic defects but I just use it as my outside laptop. It's the perfect writing companion, beautiful speakers if I ever do need speakers.

If you can get this laptop on sale, I would say it is one of if not the best windows laptop for students currently available. It has fantastic battery life, fast processing, and durable build quality, in addition to a beautful display. While most programs run non-native currently, I don't believe that poses much of a problem for most students. I certainly haven't noticed any problems, and I 10/10 would buy this again.

I've had this Zenbook A14 for about a month now and I really like it. It is the lightest laptop I've ever owned, and for me is perfect for travel and everyday use. For those looking for a powerful gaming machine or touch screen may need to look elsewhere, then this might not be for you. For me, I only need a computer for work and mircrosoft 365 platforms, and the 16gb of ram and 512gc ssd is plenty. I love the color scheme (I went with beige) and the keyboard is wonderful and quiet. Finally, the OLED display is really colorful and bright.

Very lightweight, good battery life, and excellent performance for common users, I have not try it for gaming, but for college or office tasks, or just for media consumption ans web surfing the laptop works very good and smooth.

This laptop is very fast and battery goes as expected. That was the reason I chose these laptop because of the battery life and I’m happy about it. The slim design small but functional. I’m using this in the car and it is giving me leverage to open it up while in the reading in the driver seat.
