Fantastic laptop! Very well designed and sleek. Performance and battery life are very well comparable to my previous MacBook Air. I easily get 10-12 hours of usage out of it with Asus battery care limiting it to 80% charge (I primarily for college so Microsoft word and chrome browsing/video streaming). Even performs very well for some lighter games (rocket league, GTA V enhanced, Minecraft to name a few). The screen is very sharp and colors pop thanks to the 120hz oled panel. Only downside is that the laptop runs very hot (due to its thinner nature) and windows 11 is a flaming piece of AI bloatware garbage that requires excessive neutering in order to run smoothly. No fault to the laptop, just windows itself.

The Zenbook S16 offers excellent portability, strong everyday performance, and a beautiful OLED display. It delivers solid battery life and a lightweight design that makes it easy to carry around. However, after about a year of use, I experienced an issue where the internal screen began flickering and showing lines when the lid was moved, eventually going black while the laptop still worked through an external monitor. This problem may be related to the hinge or display cable. While the laptop performs well overall, potential buyers should be aware of this possible long-term durability concern, especially regarding heat-related issues that could affect internal components.

First of all, the portability of this thing is really good! I really love the build quality and it runs extremely well. It does run KDE Neon (Linux) really well. Unfortunately, one major drawback for this laptop is that it gets really hot to the touch under light usage. I guess that what happens when you put a powerful processor and GPU in an extremely thin and light chassis. I burned my fingers typing on this thing under not even heavy workload! I ended up returning this laptop.

The display is gorgeous! The 16nch Full HD screen provides crisp, vibrant colors, and it’s perfect for streaming movies, editing photos, or even working on detailed documents. The narrow bezels give the laptop a modern and premium feel, and the screen’s brightness is great for both indoor and outdoor use. As for the keyboard, it’s comfortable to type on – the keys are well-spaced, and the backlighting makes it easy to work in low-light environments. The battery life is fantastic as well – I can easily get through a full workday without needing to recharge. What really stood out to me, though, was the overall build quality. The laptop feels sturdy and well-made, and it’s surprisingly lightweight for all the power it packs inside. Plus, it looks sleek and stylish, which is a nice bonus!

Asus laptops are very reliable. Battery charge lasts for hours. Screen is brilliantly clear.

This laptop is easy to use fast and the display is amazing. Couple that with the ram and it’s a fantastic machine.

Gets a little hot but all in all a pretty good laptop. Battery life could leave something to be desired, but the screen makes up for it.

Love time Asus Fanboy here so take this with maybe a pound or so of salt. I'm thrilled with this laptop, the screen is awesome, it's very thin and light along with being constructed well and aesthetically pleasing , about the only two criticisms I have are, no optical drive, which is readily evident in the description of the item so if you really need that or want one get a USB based one and run it that way. Far more egregious for me, also stated in the description, is the lack of an RJ45 (Ethernet connection) there's supposedly an adapter in the box but I cheaped out and bought an open box item so that adapter wasn't there, so I went back to BB and bought one (heavily discounted) over the counter there, quite satisfied. The only other quibble is I think I will expand the storage on this unit, to 4 TB just because... but I'm old school, I started playing with computers in the bad old days of JCL and punch cards... Yeah I'm one of those who say often "if you don't have it on paper... you don't have it"... This machine will be my daily driver, once I have successfully exorcized windoze and installed either free BSD or some flavor or other of Linux...I absolutely refuse to allow MS to do what they are determined to do to their customers... and I used to be a relatively enthusiastic MS customer since DOS days...

This is very good laptop for the price. The screen looks amazing and has great color rendition. It's very lightweight as well. The main issues are wifi connectivity and screen artifacts when watching video. The wifi can be fixed in the settings by reducing the seeking aggressiveness of the wifi card. The artifacts occur at low brightness.

Mainly use for software development, casual daily web browsing, and light gaming, It is a very sturdy laptop, premium quality and great battery life. When the laptop is under heavy load, it gets hot. But this is the same for all x86 laptops in this category. I might get a laptop stand to help with the cooling. Since I don't game a lot, so it doesn't bother me that much and I don't think you should buy this laptop if you game a lot. I didn't run into any driver/software issue, So for the few days I am using it, it is great.

I needed to get a laptop quick for work as my old one randomly blew up. Went to best buy and out of all the laptops i looked at this was the most premium and lightweight one out of all of them. The only one that maybe could come close was the microsoft surface but it wasnt as light as this one. Very good computer so far and i Love the OLED screen

Everything looks clean and runs very well. It all runs quicker than my previous laptop and copilot is very easy to use. The ram is better than the average laptop in the market, and was definitely worth the price. Battery life is also great lasting me for all my classes.

The screen is amazing, the speakers amazing, the only thing that isn’t amazing is the heating, after some time it starts to heat up other than that amazing overall.

Overall it's one of the windows laptops that make me feel, oh this actually might be able to compete with the macbook. But in the end the machine runs hot and the fan eventually gets loud anyway. But this laptop looks fine, truly. And the keyboard typing experience is pretty good as well.

Pros: OLED Screen 24GB RAM I actually like the design and finishing on it (Personal preference) Thin Neutral: Trackpad CPU Battery life GPU Cons: Runs very HOT I was excited to try the new AI chips. I was excited for the battery life and performance. But unfortunately battery life was the same as my 4 year old Lenovo that was the same price back then. Performance is fine. Nothing special. The graphics card was the biggest difference between this and my old laptop. 24GB of ram is nice for the price. The screen is nice. The other reviews are right, it runs HOT. Too hot for something that I don't keep on a desk all the time.

this laptop is close to perfect, especially considering the price on sale. Battery life is great for regular work use (emails, browsing, etc.) and remains very efficient throughout. Seems to get better over time as well, as it adjusts to work routines. I love the screen, in all it's Oled glory. Only issues I've had up to now has to do with some strange start-ups when waking up the laptop when it would occasionally take a long time to wake up, and also issues with the USB-c thunderbolt port connecting to projector (though that might be related to other issues and not the laptop itself). It can even do some light gaming at 720p or 1080p, with the integrated gpu working wonders! Overall, I don't think anyone can go wrong with this.

It is like a current Macbook air but much better in my opinion. Battery life is less, but still getting like 8 hours and much better performance, software selection, upgradability, repairability, price etc etc even the design is hotter. I wanted a lightweight machine that runs most older games, runs cool, silent and this thing delivers. Looks fragile therefore i kept the inner paper box for backpack support until i find some clamshell case. The screen is amazing and the keyboard is one of the best i ever used. I had a few software bugs out of the box and the charger will charge anything but this machine so i am using it with a pd charge battery between the charger and the machine now until i figure out what is wrong. Other than this I'm very happy with it.
