Feels a little flimsy which scares me, but I haven't experienced any damage to it yet. I've had some problems with my laptop not recognizing it reliably. It's whirs pretty loudly. Otherwise, it's very compact and usually does the job.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the drive, have had it for a few weeks now, burned a few CDs which work fine on my CD player and also played back a few CDs as well on my computer. I bought it for the USB C as there are few options at the moment. The USB C works well on my mac pro, but only the USB A works on my macbook laptop (through a USB A to C hub). The USB A has two plugs, both of which are needed to bus power the drive. The USB C only has one plug.

Adding CD's to my itunes takes a while, not sure if the read speed is that great but it works well enough
