Solves not having a DVD drive in a laptop computer

I'd had no problem using a dongle to connect other devices to the USB-C ports on my newer MacBook Air, but it wouldn't recognize my old Apple Superdrive. I was told this was a common problem, but that other optical drives would do the job. This one comes with a USB-C cable and works well.

A bit on the flimsy side. The mechanism that allow for the door to open seems sorta sketchy. But, it was recognized immediately and functions when I hooked it up.

This External hard drive is functional and lightweight.

Good for the price. It burns CDs and DVDs well. No problems out of the product. Im glad i chose this to purchase.

Called local Best Buy- the employee was outstanding in explaining to make the purchase by phone. Later received the txt message the purchase was ready. Pulled up and parked at the designated space- with less than a minute- purchase was placed in the back of my SUV. Excellent experience ! ! !

This works as expected. Read/Write speed was impressive, so I'd definitely recommend. I am using a Mac and it was a simple plug/play type of experience.

I needed an external dvd player after I upgraded my computer and the new computer did not come with a dvd player. This one worked well, but limited usage.

ZenDrive is very ultra thin & light. Easy to use. Great software bundle come with the package. The one thing I don't like is the CD tray. It feels like easy to break it because the size of the drive. Overall is excellent.

the usb-c interface is just an old usb cable with the other end replaced but otherwise it's loud as hell, spins the disc so fast the drive moves around my desk, and gets scratched easily. but it also plays movies on a computer, the only way to do that

This is a great device for burning CDs or playing them. Also it is plug and play so the software of your choice can be used.

As many laptops no longer come with a disk drive an external one can be a necessity and this thing definitively does the job.

On a Windows Surface Pro X. That is, it seemed there were few devices with USB-C (it also has the older cable interface). Caution: I haven't used the write feature yet, so I can't opine on the write speed.

My new computer didn’t have a dvd/cd option available and I still needed one. This unit fit the bill and the usb-c connection was nice.

Quick buy while I was walking out but figured with most computers not having CD drives it was worth a pickup.

Its a nice product. Responsive and connected without any problems with my Mac. Excellent price.

You can’t go wrong with this awesome cd burner from Asus.

Great product! Especially for the price. Works with my 2017 MacBook Pro. A little loud when playing DVDs but imported music from a CD quickly.
