Exterior is thin plastic, thus I wouldn't recommend putting it in a backpack or any other soft case for travel. Otherwise great device for the price.

CD Tray seems a little flimsy. I just was not sure how long the disk tray would last. So I brought it back and purchased an LG Slim Blade super drive.

The tray that holds the disk is very flimsy and you have to press the disk into the center spindle and then pull it off to remove the disk. What ever happened to the simple trays that you would just set the disk into the tray?
